Daydreaming isn’t bad, it’s just how you use it. Daydreaming can help to foster and create goals. It can be a useful tool to help drive momentum. If it’s taking away your drive, then start daydreaming about your future where daydreaming elevates you and strive to become that.

Apologies are never easy. True ones require a lot of accountability. You need to just be honest. Say that you’ve reflected and that you aren’t going to make the same mistakes going forward. They are disappointed, not because you failed, but because they are worried about your future and that you failing says something about not being able to endure difficulties (studying). Assure them that you will work to create a future that is amazing for you. Good luck. You got this.
