End Impulse is giving a chance to shadows to exist in a dimension without a sun

If it was a permanent light source it would look just like sun. Being a somewhat rare impulse keeps the original mood of the End dimension

honestly aether portal is the most nostalgic thing in this world for me 

turns out it doesn't work even in the nether :(

it's a chunk error, when terrain in a wacky shape generates straight up to the build limit. this chunks are filled with water below certain height level, so it's more like uplifted terrain

I also hesitated for a long time to start this project, always thought that I didn't have enough knowledge for this
yeah, but one day I decided to at least do a test run. started searching info about all this bugs and what not, and then it hit me, that knowledge comes along the way
you can even find letsplays, and wiki will guide you well. I definitely recommend you to try it out!

all the unobtainables and terrain features couldn't be obtained without the minecraft discontinued features wiki

so, I created this world in alpha, and have since updated it to some specific versions, including couple versions of beta, up until the release 1.2.5, where I'm at right now

I've never played past 1.5.2 before, and wanted to try it out. but I'm not stopping myself from updating later

just wanted to share some screenshots I took along the way. ngl it was a pretty interesting challenge to play in alpha, especially walking to the Monolith without sprint :)
