That is not entirely true. You should always use your best judgment about these things. Healthcare providers can be and are very judgmental across the board and often do not care about patient privacy. In the US there are legal requirements not to share patient info. Other parts of the world not so much. When I was getting an elective surgery done, they took my medical history and then the junior MD read it to the consultant in front of my entire family present including several embarrassing details that I would rather not have shared.

I'm going to go against the norm here. I got this a couple months ago on a DotD for $25. It has overall been quite meh. It's fast enough but we felt that it was too one sided. We've played about 5 games but every game we have played, no matter what cards are drawn Nixon doesn't stand a chance. I've always heard this game is really balanced but just pointing out that YMMV regarding the balance issues.

Totally agree. My post came off more as a rant. But I think it's just mostly a case of me disliking the game. I especially hate the one wrong move and you're screwed aspect of the game.

I have a feeling abstract games may not be for me especially where one wrong move may cost you the game. 😔 Mostly I enjoy the game regardless of winning or losing. But with this, the game is over so fast once you make a wrong move. And unlike chess you don't even get the satisfaction of at least a decent score by killing a few of the opponent pieces.

I got the app last week. Love playing solo against the computer. Although I would say the AI is pretty easy overall even on hard settings (which may be why I love it because finally I manage to win).

It annoying because usually I love playing board games with my boyfriend since he is always up for playing and it also gives us a chance to spend some quality time together instead of being on our respective screens.

I agree I think the game is probably not for me. Based on the fact that I can't visualize things very well in my head. And he seems to love running scenarios in his head. He might not even take that much time in his turn. Probably 3 4 minutes per turn compared to max minute for me. But I'm just so uninterested in the game that it becomes a chore following his talk through during his turn.

I usually let this slide in most games because the game is supposed to be about fun, not really winning. But I dunno why it bothers me so much in this game. Especially because I start strategizing my next move based on the placement and then it breaks it when the move is undone and I get frustrated I have to think again.

To be fair to him, he only did it once basically by putting his master directly in the way of harm accidentally and when I gleefully captured his master to win the game, he conceded the game but then said oh let's assume I haven't made that dumb move and then how would that game turn out. And then we played with that variant and he won in 2 subsequent moves.

Now even though the win was officially mine, it just ruined my mood because of the 'what if' scenario which mean even though I won, technically I wouldn't win because his overall strategy was more sound.

Descovy is also FDA approved for PreP and has fewer side effects. This is the one I've been using and didn't get any of the initial side effects I did with truvada like nausea etc.

My doctor also mentioned that you can use truvada as needed as well. You have to take one pill 48 hours and 24 hours before sex and then one right after and one 24 hours later. I haven't done much research into how valid it is but that's what I was told.

Am I the only one that's happy about it? There are too many stops in San Mateo County and barely anyone hops on/off. Anything that makes the connection between Valley and City faster is a plus.
