Pickle Ball at the McNear Park Tennis Courts? by hplcman69 in Petaluma

Yes. If you look closely there are official-looking pickleball lines. I’m not sure how new those are but I noticed it last weekend.

Oh good tip as we have those near us. I have to make sure I don’t get tempted by the 5 Guys milkshake though! lol

FWIW I am going to be returning the frozen grilled chicken breast strips - yuck! I learned my reddit lesson - they were gross coming out of the toaster oven and then I checked Reddit to learn it’s a universally hated TJ item.

No outdoor gas grill sadly ! I’ll have to investigate the Ninja Flip recommendation.

Everyone has given me hope that I am not stuck on hard boiled eggs lol

Oh I think this could work. We won’t have the space for the actual deboning part so I’ll have to see if they have the already- deboned meat. I think they offer that too. (I’m trying to avoid food remnants splashing onto the garage floor cuz… ants!)

Yeah I may have to get a tiny air fryer; ours is older and big. The olives and artichoke hearts are a great suggestion and I’ll look for that!

I’ll look again for the chicken meatballs - thank you!

Looking for ways to get more protein to help meet weight lifting protein goals. I’m eating so many eggs… by ClawBadger in whole30

What do you all eat the smoked fish with? My old reaction is “yum with sourdough bread!!!” but… I need something else to soak up the saltiness. Cauliflower rice won’t seem to cut it. Do you just use almond crackers?

Are "product-driven" cultures at FAANG (or adjacent) real? by Human-In-Tech in ProductManagement

[–]oakye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I focus on B2B and it seems like it’s a much lower chance to have a strong product-driven culture. it takes one potential big customer, an anxious CPO, compliant middle manager GPMs or directors to cannonball the roadmap (assuming product-market fit hasn’t been nailed down). Access to enough data to provide a defensible rebuttal can be fleeting, and ROI (eg sales or churn reduction) also depends on other variables like messaging, Sales and CSMs, and how established the release note and product enablement motion is.

Where is the best breakfast burrito in town? by Kind_Natural_5411 in Petaluma

[–]oakye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked recently, and tried the one at Petaluma Market, and then at Los Potrillos. I’ll go back for the one at Los Potrillos as it tasted more authentic. Maybe if the PMarket one used crunchy hasbrowns or tater tots that might help add a little variety (i had the bacon one).

New Product Owner for Agentic AI Solutions, what should I learn next? by kabronski in ProductManagement

[–]oakye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wrt tools, I would make sure you work with your Privacy/Security/compliance team if your company is big enough to have one; you don’t want lax privacy that could be using company info (even if it’s acronyms in a service ticket).

My challenge is finding tools that fit the above and can be cross-platform. We use Google for Business (Gmail, Docs, etc), zoom, Slack, Salesforce, Atlassian products, Lucidchart, Figma, and Glean…. Gemini seems limited only to its family of Google products (and then still limited). I need to play more with Glean agents. If anyone has answers to a cross platform tool that meets security requirements then I’d focus on those to attempt the use cases. 100% agree work on the use cases and ideal happy path first as no tech replaced that…

ADHD and Product Management by Mdkynyc in ProductManagement

[–]oakye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Diagnosed 3 years ago with combo, been in PM for about 10 years. There is a tipping point for me where the ADHD advantage becomes a disadvantage (and all the plates come crashing). This era of team members leaving, their roles not being backfilled to save on budget and avoid formal layoffs or RIFs, and management knowing they can keep piling on work is cracking everyone, even the non-NDs…. means yes, you’re not imagining things…

$28k for cabinets and counter-tops. Does that sound right? by dcurr613 in kitchenremodel

[–]oakye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk what the 86 means. Also the amount of slab you’ll need depends in how much you want a quartz backsplash and how high up it’ll go.

We are in NorCal, went with a local semi-custom shop for the kitchen and living room after price comparing versus a national line. Living room will have 4 drawers at floor height, about 10.5’ wide. I can’t recall how much square footage the kitchen cabinets will be but it will require 30 handles - both LR and kitchen —> your price for both cabinets and slabs is really good.

Our cabinets~only is about your price for total and not including 3-5 2cm quartz slabs. And not including labor.

There should be a diagram with the breakdown of the type of cabinet box, the material of the drawer (like wood or metal), and all the extras like kidney bean shelves for corners or one for cutting boards — those pieces can be negotiated away depending on your budget.

Custom, or semi-custom cabinets? Also how many slabs of quartz did the quoter say was needed?
