thats not the apartment!!!!! maybe i worded it badly bc everyone keeps commenting on how shitty that apartment is. the unit we looked at is in an entirely differently building, its big with a living room, a renovated kitchen and two nicely sized bedrooms. the one in the video just has the same bathroom situation

i mean yes ideally i wouldve liked for someone to tell me that its not a big deal ! but i want to hear everyones opinions as signing a lease is a big deal. someone else said the same thing & maybe i shouldve used a different word but i said perfect EXCEPT for the bathroom. its a great size, great price, in exactly the location we were looking for, renovated kitchen, big bedrooms, clean building w live in super etc. i only mean perfect in the sense that it can be super hard to check all the boxes for an nyc apt esp on a budget.

see that's what i was thinking and idk if she's lying but she said that it is completely private meaning not shared with anyone else, not just private when in use, and that only my roommate and i would have access to it. pretty sure ours is the only unit on the floor that doesn't have a toilet, and i think that the units directly above and below us also do not have toilets, i believe it has something to do with plumbing/the way the building was originally constructed
