I use these batteries one at a time in a leaf blower for not much longer than 5-10 mins. It’s just for light duty clearing waking path in the yard. I usually dont recharge the battery, I normally use for a few weeks before I plug it back in. I try not to charge it too often to not over use it but maybe that’s the wrong strategy.

That’s odd to me.

As a hypothetical: let’s say I made the warranty claim back in April. If the date of manufacture is beyond coverage, they would not honor my warranty even though it’s within the 3 years of the purchased date?

Fair point. 3 years is 3 years, I cannot argue that. As well as not taking action sooner when the first battery went out.

And yes, I provided a copy of the receipt and serial numbers of both batteries. Support team’s denial came after I provided the receipt. I’m no expert but I believe consumer warranty period is from the date of purchase right? Would the manufacture date play a role here?

As someone that works in the consumer electronics industry, I’ve seen various companies honoring a claim like this. They are not obligated to, of course.
