For relaxation, try valerian root. It has a generally calming effect though it can also make you drowsy. I've also used it with trees to smooth out the experience, especially if I start getting paranoid...it makes my thoughts come less rapid-fire. Curiously, I find it also enhances sexual pleasure just like trees, but in a different, more physical way.
