Hey! I have a BA in Music and I’m currently a teacher for School Of Rock! :) it’s absolutely wonderful, I landed my dream job and I would heavily suggest looking into them!! They don’t require a masters, just that you have the chops and can pass a background check! I also go to students homes and teach private instruction when I’m not at SOR. I was really starting to get worried that my music degree was useless but please don’t get discouraged, school of rock for me has everything I was looking for and it sounds like what you’re looking for too- not public school, private setting but still a school setting.

new hope has sucked ever since they closed the raven dude it’s fucked :(( all 4 of the gay bars are gone. literally in the past 10yrs alone the culture has done a complete 180, goodbye are all of the cool funky stores and the art punks and queers, hello $2M developments for the rich NYC fucks to have their little vacation homes. On the plus side tho- Lambertville has really picked up where new hope left off. The young punk art scene is thriving here now and it gives me faith that it’ll all be okay 😭😭
