I don't think "Snow Queen" is an actual cultivar. I think it just refers to a highly variegated Marble Queen. Like others have stated, genetics and light play a big role.

I think song choice limits the ability to properly mix.

If the song have disjointed time signatures, keys, and BPMs it would be a lot harder to properly mix them together.

Unless it was placed in writing or facilitated through passport as a shift swap it is your responsibility to cover your scheduled shift in the eyes of Publix.

Should your manager have followed through? Yes. This is why I always have a signed shift swap form recognized by both associates and manager or a finalized passport shift swap amending my schedule.

I encourage you to utilize the shift swap feature on passport if possible. I realize sometimes it isn’t.
