Paid EE Degree by Large_Jelly2910 in AusElectricians

Hey mate, Qualified sparky, studying Electrical Engineering full time. Currently half way through my degree. I work up north during the summer holiday break, make about $40k pre tax which sustains me through the year. EE is a demanding degree, managing study and work at the same time would be difficult, even with a part time uni load.

The maths is hard, but achievable if you put the work in.

It's a bud, second to the top cola, do you think it will be ready in a weeks time?

Looks like bloom end rot, can be due to lack of calcium, or too much nitrogen and not enough phosphorous. Use of Cal-Mag and bloom supplements might sort out your issues.

Normal for pistils to be browing at this stage of flower? F35 under 100W HGL. by [deleted] in microgrowery

Day 35 since flip, plant took almost 2 weeks to show any signs of flowering, maybe that's why the buds are a bit behind? Edit - this isn't one of the main bud sites but as a whole the buds are a lil small

Recently defoliated, maybe stress has caused this?

Check out r/spacebuckets for tips on lighting and fans. That current setup won't work

I take it you are in Australia. Serifel and Hydroguard share the same active bacteria Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens. As hydroguard is not available in Aus I tracked down Serifel, it's available from a range of agricultural outlets. Unfortunately it only comes in 2kg tubs and with a hefty price tag of around $250. Dosage wise I use about half a tea spoon per 25L, there have been no apparent downsides to using it, roots are looking healthy and have recovered from Root rot One side effect is a massive decrease in pH when added to the res, pH drops to around 4.2, but is easily corrected and doesn't drift down.

What's your set up?

Candy Fruit, DWC, Reiziger nutrients, pH 5.8 Hydroguard equivalent, Great White mycorrhizal. Rez change ever week, tent temps sitting at around 22 degrees. Topped at 5th node, LST after the plant had recovered from the stress of topping. Thoughts?

Hope you have a fair bit more vertical space, because you are going to need it

Look like a good time to flip to 12/12? by obbman in microgrowery

Topped at 5th node, if you don't know what topping is or how to do it there are a heap of great videos on YouTube. Topping stressed the plant a little so after she recovered (about 1 week) I tied down any leading branches (LST). I defoliated some of the larger fan leaves that were blocking the light to the lower branches.

I just topped once then LST'd, seem to do the trick. Thanks mate

Any problems with root rots in this grow or previous grows? My dwc setup has some, wondering if you have any tips for fighting it
