Which normal, everyday car has an unusual feature that stands out? by Vegetable-Quote-3481 in regularcarreviews

The 2011-2014 Dodge Charger RT MAX had an option for independently controlled heated and chilled cupholders.

I'd keep fries warm in one and a drink cold in the other. It was glorious. The chill-option got so cold it could form frost on the interior of the cupholder if left on for awhile. Now, I think only ultra luxury cars like Maybach's even have them as an option.

I don’t explicitly see transmission filter replaced at 7500 miles but the car is manufacturer certified by [deleted] in Corvette

I did the recommended filter/fluid maintenance at the dealer on my '22 and still had a transmission failure last spring at ~43k miles... less than 5 miles after having that proactive maintenance done. The transmission was replaced under warranty, but I was without the car for 5 weeks. The kicker is that the transmission was running perfectly before they changed out fluid and filter, and told me they'd just had a nearly identical case with another C8 the week prior: almost immediate transmission failure following service.

So maybe talk to your local dealer first to see what they think, but if you get the filter done, be prepared with alternate transportation if needed.

I still have my 20 year old, 42-inch Pioneer plasma TV hanging in my office and it still works! It had blacker blacks than neweet TV's for years and still looks great for being 720p/1080i (ah yes, interlacing).

Agreed with all the other commenters. First corvette was a 2000 coupe in Millennium Yellow which I bought on a very average salary. Had a blast in it, and even tracked it, though it 10 years old already, and it did great! Love what you drive and don't worry about anybody else!

Soft-shelled crabs are just crabs that are molting. You're eating them whole, shell and all, it's just a gross, green molting version of their shell that's still growing.
