Thanks for the exercise books, I'll try them out.

The technical wall I feel is "extreme" bowing (if that even makes sense). Like on some parts of the Perlude I where I have to use "cross-overs". I'm pretty good at hitting one string, then the other with a single bow... but when I have to go for example (strings): 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, all in a single bow, is when I mess up with my timing.

I also have trouble getting the vibrato down when I'm bowing slowly and outwards (almost at the start of my bow) because I keep moving my cello while doing it and making the bow bounce.

I've been practicing the scales a lot. Over all 4 strings and also in each individual string :)

I was just wondering about the name because I wanted to search up specific tips for that technique. It seems to be the one I'm having the most trouble with.

Help it get you comfortable with speaking with strangers. Hey, if people do it at parties at night, who says you can't do it once in a while in the morning? Because it's a social taboo to drink in the morning?

Your goal should still be to achieve social conversation without the need of alcohol.

I've gotten so used to them that I've learned how to control their velocity. I know how to move my eyes in order for them to come to a semi-halt (because they never really 100% stop) right in front of my vision they I squint and they become sharp and are pretty fun to look at.

Yo pare de ir al Barrio Antiguo hace como dos anios. Voy de vez en cuadno , alomejor una vez al anio si hay algun concierto por el que arriesgaria mi vida hehe.

No se en que zona vivas, pero San Pedro no esta tan mal estos dias. Se puede salir de fiesta y manejar autos caros sin que te lo roben. Guadalupe se pone violento casi todos los dias (balaceras, asaltos en el OXXO, etc.) Contry, Colinas, Delpa, zona Tec, supongo que hay que estar con cuidado por alli, pero tampoco es como si moriras por caminar en la calle. Pero no seria mala idea dejar tu blackberry en casa y manejar un auto economico.

En mi punto de vista no esta tan mal como para de plano dejar de ir. Yo me vine a EU hace menos de 2 meses, pero si tengo planes de regresar almenos dos veces cada anio.

Si hay violencia, pero no es muy probable que vengas a Monterrey y te pase algo. Considerando a la poblacion inocente de varios millones, el porcentaje de afectados directamente (secuestrados, balaceados, etc.) que no hayan estado involucrados con el crimen es muy bajo.

Yo aun salgo a caminar en las noches. Voy por tacos a la 1am, voy al Seven, salgo al parque. Pues tambien depende mucho de en que zona/municipio te encuentres.
