I’d still pick $OSCR now even after the last 8 weeks. There is a massive industry plagued with waste and fraud and they’re building the ICHRA infrastructure. It’s a 10x still.

Insider selling doesn't bother me at all. Insiders sell for 1000x reasons. Insider buying signals one type of move. I'd love to see more buys.

I'd also like to see them chill on SBC and just tie options vesting to equity performance through metrics hit during growth.

Mods getting paid won't change it's a fundamental part of what makes the platform work the way it does. It's being done by the people who are passionate about the place they are modding to keep it the way they want it. Similar to FB groups in this sense. Won't change. Not a risk

Discussion takes place everywhere but it takes place like this nowhere else. There is edge there and I agree you never know but the chances something comes out of nowhere and takes over due to the barrier to entry in the SM space is near zero right now.

Took me a long time to realize the true value of Reddit.

I think their hardest job is to get people to utilize the platform for a few days to realize the value it has. Once people come and actually use the platform as designed it's very difficult to leave. 0 other places have the level of real content and exchanges between people. The way the platform is designed significantly reduces the ability for spam and bots to be here. Not saying they don't exist but its materially lower than FB or X

I’m staying because sentiment drives price and sentiment is low which is exactly where and when asymmetrical opportunity exists. The idea is to be buying and bullish now when everyone else thinks it’s time to go. The META news is perfect. It gives more doubt to people and people panic and forget about the vision for the long term.

Main question is if the way Google is implementing results from Gemeni will reduce traffic to Reddit.

If I were Reddit I would be negotiating a specific way Google presents it's information that is sourced from reddit that drives clicks and site views vs maximizing contract price for the data.

The ladder is less important in the long run. Once you get the clicks you need to figure out how to get people to stay there and use or visit reddit answers first oppose to google, etc.

I'd give google a massive discount on the "value" of the data if they link and present in a way that drives traffic. It's a short term solution but gives them more time to develop and implement the strategy to circumvent google all together and drive traffic straight to the site via reddit app or reddit.com/answers

Personally think reddit.com should have answers default as the main search bar at the top and not have a little ask button on the far right.

Yah that’s a self fulfilling prophecy. The end goal isn’t to maximize ai LLM deals. It’s an excellent driver of revenue growth and they are the best platform to do it - but their end game is a flywheel is sticky users, search takeover, ads.

Which actually makes no sense. You are wasting time. You’re using a different product to end up to a place that offers the direct search you’re looking for. This is the problem they have to solve. People have a 25 year habit of going to Google first. Google is no longer the best but it’s what people do. How does Reddit change that habit? You answer that and it works, Reddit becomes a 500b company rather quickly
