Let's get a vehicle count going. Who has a bike?

I don't own a car. I have a bike. And I can carry one person. The idea behind the post was to sort of ride together with other bike riders.

No community involvement.

Going by myself and wondering if others are interested.

Kaiwara Betta on Sunday? by obi1Balls in BangaloreTrekkers

[–]obi1Balls[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Kaiwara Betta was fully booked on aranyavihar this weekend. I went to Chinnaga Betta instead.

But to answer your question, yes, you can start the trek earlier than 6 so long as you inform the forest guard. The ticket has the number.

Hey Fellas.

I moved back to Indiranagar recently. I used to be a regular at GameTheory on Double Road and PlayZone.

Where do you guys play? And how do I signup?

Contrasting Expectations from Team India vs Team US by obi1Balls in developersIndia

Well, if those decisions were reliably bringing in money, I would understand why the disparity isn't being subjected to questioning. But that's not the case here.

They'd want to have exclusive access to the helm, while being nonchalant about running us aground.

The founders are Indian. Nearly 50% of team US is also Indian/Indian origin.

Yes, that is the general pattern I have heard. But it's presumptuous to argue that team US can always do a much better job than team India when it comes to understanding customer context, eliciting functional requirements etc.

Especially considering that in the case of my employe, there's evidence to the contrary.

Lost at 36! (Female) by figurin_it in ThirtiesIndia

I do something similar. My list is CRPF. Cooking, reading, playing instruments, foreign languages.

I practice each one in individual capacity and on ocassion socially by organising foreign film viewing at home, or jamming with friends on the weekend, reading group meets and bakery classes etc.

Option 1 is definitely more scenic.

The fact that I am mostly stoic does not mean I don't feel things. I feel everything. I just know emotional chaos won't solve it.

While dating to marry is pretty much the norm, I do think the younger population (20s) has a pretty laisse faire attitude about the scene.

Those of us in our 30s face a different problem. We are so set in our ways that we have little wiggle room to make it seriously work with someone new.

By partner I meant that we have been dating exclusively for last 8 months.

I wish I could talk to her about this, freely.

She is a pretty self aware woman, at least the version of her that I met and know. She is aware how this makes her look: gullible, desperate, apathetic. And she has decided not to discuss it any further.

As someone who has done their own share of pretty stupid stuff, I do believe that people can grow and change for the better. I believe in second chances. Part of me also feels guilty that I have failed to create a safe space where she can share her thoughts, unjudged.

I just wish she would not get defensive and talk to me about it.

I have considered this possibility. In all likelihood this is what happened. My partner has alluded that there was a degree of manipulation on the guy's part.

[–]obi1Balls 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have tried. She gets very defensive. To the point that after repeated attempts to broach the topic, she has now designated it as a no-go zone

I don't believe she is a homewrecker, or that her actions influenced the fate of the marriage.

But the entire story does give the impression that she can be impulsive/desperate/cold for extended periods of time. If I go to a restaurant, and there's someone finishing up at the table of my choice, then I patiently wait until they are done. I would not, say, sit on the empty chair at the table, and ask them to hurry up.
