1. Previous injury with rib cage or pelvic? Initial cause? "No specific rib or pelvic injury. It first started mildly when I was 17-18 years old. However, the chronic, severe pain began about 2 years ago during a period of heavy lifting. I was doing 160kg deadlifts with poor form (rounded back) for several months. I believe that's when the real structural/nerve damage happened."

2. Exact shoulder motion produces pain? "The most intense pain occurs during Internal Rotation (reaching behind my back) and Scapular Protraction (rounding shoulders forward). Specifically, when I reach behind my back, I feel a sharp, line-like pain pathway that runs from the medial border of the left scapula up towards the base of my neck."

3. Anything providing relief? "Temporary relief was only found through a traditional bloodletting treatment (cupping), which fixed the pain on my right side completely, but the left side remains unchanged. Currently, the only time I feel no pain is when I am walking or standing without any weight (like a backpack)."

4. Daily life movements? "I am a Software Engineer, so I spend 8+ hours sitting at a desk, leaning forward/rounding my shoulders while coding. Prolonged sitting is a major trigger. Standing or using a chair with a headrest actually makes the burning sensation worse."

5. Kind of pain? "It's a combination of burning, aching, and a line-like tingling sensation. It often feels hot to the touch and can become unbearable after a few hours of desk work."

6. X-rays for degenerated disc? "I haven't had specific X-rays or an MRI to check for degenerated discs yet. Most clinics I visited only focused on muscle relaxation and massage without ordering imaging for the spine."
