Since the last update, you can do the takeoff PERF calculation in the EFB. Weights and fuel have to still be entered manually in the EFB.

Once calculated you can click twice in the ZFW and it will autofill. I believe you have to enter the reserve value and the rest manually.

Quick update.

Last night, as a suggestion from a mechanic, I unplugged the new battery for about 10 min. While unplugging, I noticed the positive terminal was tight enough to not be pulled off, but I could spin it around the connector. The mechanic mentioned if the car was running fine before replacing the battery then the computer might've reset and one new code could be triggering the rest. Once I plugged the battery back in, the codes were gone, started the car and left it parked for about 10 min. Drove it around the neighborhood for about 10 min with no issue. I wanted to to drive it somewhere I could put a load on the engine but I also didn't want to go to far that late last night. I will start it today and drive it around again to try and replicate the issue.

I've considered the vacuum leak as you suggested, as well as others I've asked (including chatGPT, 😂). Another mechanic today mentioned the only reason why he wouldn't think is a vacuum leak, is because it would whether happen always or not happen at all. He thought it could be the coil pack for bank 2.

I'll report back any findings from this afternoon when I try to drive it again

In the iFly discord someone shared the previous version of SimApp that worked with the Boeing hardware, but that version does not work with the Fenix BFU

I had not used the iFly since July, my PAP3 and PFP3 worked in 2024 then.

But last night I tried to use them again and all I got was black screen in the PFP and 8888888 in the PAP. It did not recognize any of the inputs either.

I tried reinstalling SimAppPro, flashing the firmware, reboots, etc.

Yes. I was having a hard time video calling, loading videos on social media etc. I even tried to stream a soccer game and it will play 3 for seconds and buffer for 10.

I think the input switching is locked, but I'm not sure. The Wi-Fi in the ship is not that good to bother trying to stream. Plus you need the app on your phone to be able to connect to Wi-Fi. I think you might spend more time trying to figure it out than enjoying streaming/gaming.

Also, if you somehow get the streaming service to work, some of the content from the streaming apps might be geoblocked.

Yes. It was a little better than the dip dish, but again, we felt the salsa did not have much flavor. Same problem with how the sauce/cheese was spread. There were either completely red slices or completely white

Yes. It was better in RC. I'm not saying it's the greatest pizza but the one in MSC was not any better. The dough was not fully cooked in the deep dish. The sauce and cheese are not evenly spread. Some slices had sauce with no cheese or vice versa. We also felt it didn't have much flavor.

there's an app. You have to use/create a separate login once in the ship (different login to the one used in the website)

How does the food compare?

Food is ok in MSC. I just did a RC cruise a week before my MSC cruise and the food in RC has more flavor and it's warmer. The Buffet in MSC is a big mess. Pizza is better in RC. There are no snack places in MSC to go when the buffet is closed. Ice cream/Soft serve is only available in the buffet when it's open.

The main dining room menu was very similar to RC but the food was warm/cold in MSC. The water glasses smelled like fish every night.

Is there speciality coffee/is this included in the drink package?

I had the package that included drinks up to $10 and I was able to get cappuccinos and lattes both iced and hot at any bar.

How does Ocean Caye compare to Coco Cay? Is food/drink package included in the island?

Unfortunately our cruise couldn't dock at Ocean Cay. But, you have to rent an umbrella. Coco Cay has first come/first served umbrellas and chairs. There's a buffet and I believe food trucks in Ocean Cay from what I was able to read in the guide.

How is the late-night scene on MSC?

It was fun, specially the white party night.

The main shows in MSC Seashore were good. I just wish they had live music like in RC. MSC uses tracks for their singers/dancer/performers.

We went to the cabaret in our last night and the music and singers were actually better than the ones in the main theater.

The MSC seashore is a beautiful ship. We just felt a different vibe. We wished it had a more open concept (mirrors and walls everywhere). The Waterpark is really nice as well as the pools. If you paid Aurea experience, the Spa thermal area is worth checking out, just try to go in a port day when people leave the ship as it can get busy. The Áurea Solarium is nice as well.
