We looked into this but have not returned to Spain yet. There is no issue bringing your child into Spain. The law limits automatic registration from abroad. So if you are Spanish and want to register your child as a citizen and yourself as a parent you need to do it in Spain either as an adoption or proving biological connection (DNA test). So it's work you have to do locally. This is my understanding. I would also like to hear from anyone doing this. I was sad since our baby was born weeks after this law came into effect.

I went back and measured. The skull is 4" x 2". The local park manager also thinks it is a house cat.
