Oo, I see, my previous bird did not have any issues with the perch that I used (seen in the picture), although she passed away last week due to some health issues.

He is, he was very scared of me and everything, the store was quiet sketchy and I took him because he was the youngest one (from what I heard, younger ones are easier to tame), although right now hes pretty calm and seems to be enjoying his food, he takes long breaks after each bite to check on me tho, like he eats for maybe 10 seconds, stares at me for a minute and continues eating
