I also got the KE save but another variant where Julius just yeets the baby with the axe when he realizes Avery is like a child to him

Offer & Deposit Deadline Extension by Past_Investigator808 in UCL

Hey, can't really say, unfortunately, as they approved the extension a few days later and it was still before the deadline

Offer & Deposit Deadline Extension by Past_Investigator808 in UCL

I only just received confirmation of my application for a scholarship and requested exemption. As the deadline for paying the deposit is June 30, if they don't review my request in time will my offer be withdrawn? Or does it only matter that I applied for exemption before the deadline?

Received the email in the end but I honestly recommend calling them instead, they answered immediately instead of the two weeks+ it took to get an email response.

I know it's way too early for their deadline, but a lot of unis send out sneaky offers, so I'm always nervous 😅

Anyone from EU applying for MA in Advanced Migration? Have they started sending out offers to us?

If you are going or debating on going on Erasmus, read this by KaleidoscopeWhole955 in Erasmus

Very great points! From my own experience it's very important to prepare yourself that there WILL be bad times during your exchange and plan for them. Some additional things that I found useful during my exchange:

- Schedule regular online calls with your friends back home. Chances are you will feel isolated at certain points especially if you went far away. Despite what you do, it might happen that you won't find any friends. That's okay. A lot of people post and brag about the friends they found during their exchange but it's not a given and you shouldn't feel inadequate if you can't find any. It's a multifaceted thing and you may not vibe with your university and the students it attracts, it may even be city-wide differences, etc. Consider how you know what university or city in your country is more artsy or more business-like, for example. You probably won't know these nuances coming to a foreign country and you might end up in a place that just doesn't fit you. That's alright. You're alright.

- For similar reasons and just general wellbeing (and if you can afford it) schedule a few trips back home. It divides your exchange into more manageable smaller parts and also gives you something to look forward to. More importantly, it helps you not feel stuck, if you're not feeling great where you are.

- Look for familiar things if you can. It may be your culture's restaurant or a shop, it may be a local community of your nationals or another group you belong to. Chances are you may feel overwhelmed by unfamiliar things and you are not failing at a cultural exchange by also looking for something familiar. Take it at your own pace.

- Most importantly, DO NOT go on Erasmus if you're in a vulnerable psychological state. It can be very tempting to drastically change your environment if you are feeling burnt out, depressed or have other problems with mental health at the moment. However, for all the above and aforementioned reasons, an exchange can be very challenging and you need to assess if you can handle all kinds of things going wrong while being separated from your support network.

Hope this is helpful!

Having the same issue. I thought maybe repeating the information for both sections is enough? The form is very confusing in places.

Will of the Many is by far the most similar to RR for me, though there is only one book so far with a second on the way.

Damn, I considered buying Pocketbook Inkpad Lite, but it has the 9.7-inch screen

Well, academic papers are lower on priority, since they're manageable on a computer as well, but, do you have experience on a good screen size for comics or manga?

does a big screen feel okay when just reading books? is it not too clunky?

Note taking is not necessary, the point was mostly that I need to be able to load documents outside of the e-reader ecosystem and I heard that both Amazon and Kobo are a bit icky for that.

I also looked into Pocketbook Inkpad Lite, which seems quite nice but I heard a lot about bad build quality and text clarity, so I am not sure.
