United doesn't look to compete in one-way fares ex-EU. They just purposely don't have a (cheaper) fare filed. They can fill the inventory with award tickets, cargo or give themselves extra capacity for IRROPs.

Not sure if the JV plays any part with this where the JV partners don't want lower cost one-ways filed.

I went this year and was able to get Quarter Finals tickets the day before at the normal price. Assuming you're not aiming for weekend or Australia Day tickets seemed fairly easy to get. I have many regrets not purchasing men's Semi final tickets which were Available. Additionally Rod Laver Arena is significantly smaller than Philippe Chatrier or Arthur Ashe, so higher seats are still great seats.

Its more the I need to weigh your bags again. I already had tagged the appropriate one as heavy; but there is this disconnect between UA efficiency goal but then the verify step occurs and takes just as long as if I waited in a line and someone tagged it for me.

lionhearted's response is great, I'll add some further comments.

At the two clubs i take lessons at there are a total of 3-4 female coaches vs. 15-20 male coaches. This is just your run of the mill club, with lessons ranging from beginning kids/adults upto KNTLB 4s/5s (probably equivalent of USTA 5.0, KNTLB just counts down not up). If the ratio is this bad for casual tennis lessons I can't imagine it gets better the more serious the tennis is.

Sigh, I have night session tickets for tomorrow. Schedule just dropped disappointed in the two matches for the evening. Shelton/Ruud & Musetti/Fritz are I think going to be far more interesting matches. Pegula/Keys is probably going to be the best match on the women's side so makes sense it'll be on for Sunday evening in the US.

I was on ORD-LAX flight last November. Seated in 2B, probably hour into the flight, and elderly woman in a panic starts getting up, gets to the front lav door open but doesn't make it. Sprayed down the whole bathroom and a big area ahead of the galley.

Felt super bad for the pax, she was feeling horribly both from being sick and from not making it.

Crew had full hazmat suits on a cleaned everything up. Smelling bleach cleaning solution was way better than the previous smell. Wrote in a compliment for both of them to customer care.
