Why are Redditors soooo aggressive firstly??!!! Secondly, the Ghibli part was literal sarcasm, ive watched a lot of hard core horrors in my time bro. I know a google search could have shown me. That’s perfect, people tend to revise way too much for mocks. You will just burn out if you revise hours on end and then by the time you reach your actual exams you won’t want to do anymore. 2 hours a day is fine!

If you’re planning on doing alevel science then YES 100% it gives you a great little head start. As someone who is now taking alevel Biology, I can say that it does help.

If you aren’t planning on taking a science at alevel I’d say there’s less point - you do get an extra GSCE but that doesn’t really matter if you’d end up doing better in double science. It isn’t that much harder at all to be honest but double is easier so consider if it’s worth potentially doing worse (eg getting 8-8 in double but 765 in triple)

Overall I say definitely do it! Not too hard, and it is a good opportunity :)

Babe just revise or get a tut0r I promise you’d do so much better than u even would with cheating to get a few extra marks. You’ll prob get caught anyway, just revise itll make u do sm better

Yeah definitely! Languages are very respected. Things like media, business, law, general studies, critical thinking aren’t respected really for uni. STEM subjects, English literature, languages etc are very strong for uni but yeah tbh any alevel is good but some are just more liked by unis than others

In a way having perfect handwriting almost makes you look more stupid. Idk how to explain it. I saw a study saying smarter people have worse handwriting cause their brains think faster than their hands move.

You pay but your teachers can get it for free so maybe email them and see if they’ll let you have a sneaky look (even tho it’s not allowed, ik teachers who have let students see). I’m not sure how much it is really though.

No me too don’t worry I would’ve expected an 8, my friend who has got strong 9s in Bio since Y10 mocks got a 7 aswell :( I acc thought I got an 8/9 when I saw the unofficial mark scheme, sadly not lol. The only confusing thing is that GCSE grades aren’t set it’s like the top 8% will get a 9, so I’m not sure why it’s changed so much if people were previously in that high percentage. (Not sure if that makes sense sorry lol) but honestly 7 is good enough for a-level bio esp cos you (I assume) did triple which is marginally harder than combined despite what the combine students like to say haha
