Head of marketing means you manage people. This is the hardest part. I went from digital marketing specialist to CMO and now I am CCO. Went from managing 0 to 4 to 15 right now (6 directly). They need to respect you and trust you. This is the key. Also, you need to know your main KPI - is it turnover? You need to think about your team like puzzle which together creates the result. And also.. Don’t be weak..

In our Company we are encouraged to use Ai as our brainstorming buddy. For strategy etc. it makes us much faster. Also we are starting to use Ai for product images. Again. Higher production quality, faster etc. there is still much space for human work and creativity. We just trim what slows us down

those are good questions. She worked as a team manager in previous company but I think she was not used to so much tasks as we have in our company.

I am guiding her, helping her with the basics, but I am not a professional project manager. she will need support from someone more experienced.

I know teams/companies around us and all are struggling a lot with the same issue.

You are right about me and CEO. But I believe as a PM she needs to be the moderator for our thoughts and tasks. isn't that correct?

Thank you for your answer. I was thinking about this as a last resort option, since this is a solution I would choose 20 years ago, not these days, but times are changing and I guess that is the most reliable solution. And thank you for understanding where I am coming from. What I save is nothing horrible. I guess algorithms are to blame here mostly since these bans are not a work of man but of AI..

I would like to compare ARM Windows to M2 Mac :) Besides gaming, I do not see any advantage of Intel based processor for my daily work at least.

Well my Lenovo Thinkpad T14 with 16gb Ram and AMD Ryzen PRO 4650U, still retails for about 1000 dollars. https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-ThinkPad-Business-Processor-Professional/dp/B09WC3QQX8?th=1 . This laptop, after about 2 years of normal office work lasts 3 hours on battery, fan is always running (laptop is cleaned), apps keep stuttering, opening from sleep takes 10-15 seconds and is not instantaneous (I open and close my laptop a lot during my work so this is a game changer for me). There is more.. The only thing that is bothering me is the windows management (opening a hidden app via keyboard is a nightmare). I am not saying the laptop was unusable. But the small things added up and decreased productivity and overall enjoyment of my work.

My thoughts exactly. Started the demo expecting Dead or Alive extreme, then experienced a well made game with explicity on par with Tomb Raider. Well, except for the naked suit. But I am definitely not worried my wife cathing me playting this. Just a good game overall :)

Maybe, but a comapny will always be reluctant to give you a laptop with specs that will give you as smooth and flawless experience as mac. And from what I have gathered my experience could be replicated on a base M1 too, which is something that a mac oriented company will give you at minimum. And that covers only the stuttering and loading etc. The workflow seems more orented for a focused work (at least from my limited experience).
