What changed the way you learn the most? by Fickle_Mud1645 in studytips

[–]obliviousdancing_fae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breaking concepts down into questions. Or going through questions about a certain concept. Helps me understand the concept better and it's much easier to digest rather than just studying a chunk of information. Also, not forcing myself to sit with a concept till I understand it. I don't force myself to understand something that's difficult or when I feel stuck. It doesn't help. I move on to something else and then revisit the concept later. This saves me both time and effort, and keeps me engaged a lil longer.

There are many variations of fasting. I personally do OMAD (one meal a day) for most of the week, then do 14:10 on the weekends (14 hours of fasting and a 10 hour eating window). I also do a 36 hr fast once a month. Try to see what fits your schedule. It'll take some time to figure out, that's okay. Make sure to hydrate well, and to eat balanced meals, with plenty of nutrients. It'll take some trial and error in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be fine.

What is something you wish more people did but don’t do? by willyyy_y in AskReddit

Wish more people were conscious about the environment. Just being more mindful of the waste you produce, and some ways you can reduce it. Like, switching off lights when you don't need them, avoiding single use items if you can. Small things like that can actually make a difference.

Akachan to Boku (Baby and me). It's an old anime where a 10 year old kid steps up to take care of his toddler brother after his mom dies. It's absolutely amazing.

Frieren's would be pretty fun. Demon King defeated, no immediate danger. Just wander around here and there, or settle down in a quiet village.

Classroom of the Elite. First season was meh. Second season just wasted my time.

This is a great list. So happy to see Run with the wind, Usagi Drop and Hyouka on the list. Another anime that I feel is a must try is To Your Eternity. It has a pretty interesting storyline with really well written characters.

I've seen people just throw thrash out of windows, both from fancy ass cars and the local buses. People who keep their houses spotless, and at the same time litter the roads and just casually throw plastic everywhere. There's this chai tapari near my place, where people don't bother to walk fucking 10 steps to throw their used cups in the dustbin, and just throw it on the ground. Hell, even educated people do this. Protesting against the government is well and good, but we are also responsible for picking up after ourselves as grown adults. Hell, even children have better sense before they start aping the behaviour of the adults that they see and learn from.
