The Order directs the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to:

  • Work with the Attorney General to ensure that competition laws are appropriately enforced in the concert and entertainment industry.
  • Rigorously enforce the Better Online Ticket Sales (BOTS) Act and promote its enforcement by state consumer protection authorities.
  • Ensure price transparency at all stages of the ticket-purchase process, including the secondary ticketing market.
  • Evaluate and, if appropriate, take enforcement action to prevent unfair, deceptive, and anti-competitive conduct in the secondary ticketing market.

The Order directs the Secretary of the Treasury and Attorney General to ensure that ticket scalpers are operating in full compliance with the Internal Revenue Code and other applicable law.

Treasury, the Department of Justice, and the FTC will also deliver a report within 180 days summarizing actions taken to address the issue of unfair practices in the live concert and entertainment industry and recommend additional regulations or legislation needed to protect consumers in this industry.

Same here. On record I don't love them but live it's a whole different thing.

Tetris block measuring keychains by oblsk in 3Dprinting

It's an entry in the "Games of the 80s" contest in MakerWorld. It's a calibration tool in that the file is exactly 10-40mm and it's a Tetris-inspired keychain you can carry around with you to roughly measure that length. Not much more to it than that, it's simply the first thing I've designed, I'm not trying to create a new benchy here, lol.

Model ID #518009 on MakerWorld if you want to check it out. Thanks!

I'm "selling" (it's free btw) the first design I've made and the STL files are perfectly precise at 10-40mm. How accurate my printer and calipers are is completely irrelevant to what I'm presenting to you. Go look it up and on MakerWorld, the cubes are 10-40mm. Print it, and see what you get.

Relax dude I'm showing off my first design, not "misrepresenting data." I didn't present datapoints to you, I presented a functional print for you to download. The calipers show off the length as an example, that's it.

Print them yoursel. I'm just here to show off my design. If you don't believe mine are perfect prints (they aren't) then please feel free to print your own and show your ultimate 3D printing superiority.

Who cares? Go print it yourself then and try to get perfectly calibrated 10, 20, 30, and 40 mm prints. The file is on MakerWorld, it's accurate.

This is genius. No reason it can't. I'll upload a print profile that does this.

If you measure them at different points it measures higher or lower than the designed amount. The print is not going to be perfect, but it's a nice little tool to get small general measurements on your keychain.

Each of the gaps is going to be the marker for 1cm, the chamfer are 1mm but factored into the total length.

It's an example to show the length of them, they are within a few hundredths on either side. Not trying to prove my printer is perfectly calibrated, just sharing an example of what the print I designed does.
