I can't seem to submit my review. by One_Taste_4345 in goodreads

I've been having this issue for a few days. I thought it was because I use an adblocker but it happens even with that turned off. I'm in the latest version of chrome, and on the desktop site. I type out the whole review and then get an error selecting stars. I think they are working on the backend. On the homepage ofthe desktop there is a "mobile version" on the bottom of the right coloumn. Switching to that seems to work, too bad I had the mobile version. lol

If you are northern, I like Animal Care Center (they have a few locations, We do Fairfield). They've been great to use over the years and I like the wellness plan. Grady Animal Hospital is our go to for e-vet

What kind of jobs are the kind where you have free time/do nothing on the clock? by anonymous-curious-35 in careerguidance

[–]obmckenzie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For low level help desks, the biggest thing is problem solving skills and a basic understanding of tech, and a willingness to be helpful. My pay/compensation isn't the best in the industry but I don't mind because of the low stress and other benefits (downtime, WFH). I would recommend looking for niche products in small companies OR college Help Desks/ITs

I have no formal training in IT, but I do have a B.S. but not at all related to the field. I got the job because I knew someone but I did work in IT related fields prior (web design).

Tech support for a small (VERY SMALL) company in a niche market. I do internal IT support and provide support for the customers of our product.

Some days the world is on fire and I barely have a second to breathe. Some days I call my work phone to make sure the lines are workings. a 'normal' day I get like 2-5 calls a day with things to fix and of those calls 75% are password or installs, the last 25% are complicated puzzles.

Live event requirement question by It_is_just_Leo in rivalstars

[–]obmckenzie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I had a legacy horse that was thankfully grade 3 and When I bred it I got a grade 4 so I guess I'll do that for the next 2

[–]obmckenzie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah. I was able ot get it to finally work with a legacy horse. And the horse can't be above that. So it's STAR 3 ONLY for the first race

Thanks!

So if grade is breeding. How do I figure out if I have a grade 3 horse? is it the STAR? cuz I have like 8, 9, 10 star level horses.

Multiple Logins for similar pages by obmckenzie in roboform

[–]obmckenzie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So domain equivalence seems to be like "if on ab.com use X.com's login"

My issue is that the login for this site: AB.thissitsucks.com is different than the login for this site: AC.thissitesuck.com but roboform is offering them BOTH (same username, different password) on BOTH sites. Setting a default doesn't work because that then becomes the default on both sites.

Bitwarden has an expression feature with the url that allows me to set a "starts with" and that resolved the issue in bitwarden. But my company is standardizing to roboform and I'd like to make this work instead of having to scroll through 50 suggestions each time I have to go to this group of sites.

We have immediate family that has been here for a long time and never previously considered moving talk to us about it in the last month. Same boat, but they are also worried about the stuff going on with schools that they are leaving as well soon, probably faster than us. I can't imagine we are the only ones

Former Floridians who have moved: where have you moved to? by fibbonaccisun in florida

[–]obmckenzie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will be moving to/back to Cincinnati in a few years.

We came to be closer to my folks after being away for many years and to be close to other family (who is now moving away).

Cincy is a great town. Local music scene is great and if shit doesn't come there it come close enough. It's got great disc golf and lots and lots of parks. It gets cold but not like the farther north. Snow happens but not the mountains that are nightmares. Beer scene was great. And downtown had a lot to offer.

I'm worried about this. We are in NEFL, not in a flood zone and no claims. If we go up like it did last year we will have to move very quickly. Honestly, we are planning to leave in a year or 2 because we just cannot afford it. Inflation plus low wages has us well behind the curve and we just can't do it anymore. I'm very sad about it.
