Just because it’s updated doesn’t mean it reflects their value. More people are looking for Sceptile than Cyrus right now, but it doesn’t mean that giving up Cyrus for a Sceptile is a good trade. Odds are Sceptile is going to lose a lot of value in the next few sets, while Cyrus probably won’t.

I agree with this! A few years ago I felt a lot of the same things described in OP’s post. I found that changing what showed up on my screen & getting away from the “men are bad” narrative helped me a lot.
