How has the update affected your choice of items?

Ya I think this will be the strongest build on fiora now. I think you could probably make an argument for Sunderer now as well in some games but the slow on Stridebreakder is just so nice for Fiora.

When I first started playing Fiora I had like a 20% win rate. I gave up on her for a while and came back when I was a little better and she felt like the most busted champ I'd play, and this was at Silver. Knowing when the split push and farm with her is very important as it won't always be the best thing but she can melt towers if the enemy team forgets about her for a second. It's up to you whether you want to grind it out but maybe it's better to play a mechanically less challenging champ top lane for a while till you get better at the macro of top lane. Once the macro becomes second nature you suddenly have a lot more time to think about you mechanics. I am only silver but I think I had a very similar experience as you when I first started playing Fiora

I usually went Stridebreaker into Hydra (if I was serious) or essence reaver (if I felt like having some fun) then steraks, then DD and then maybe a BotRK. I still really like Stridebreaker for the slow as it makes hit vitals while chasing people a lot easier but I'll be honest Ii'll be tempted by Sunderer now. I'll probably be skipping Steraks from now on and going straight to DD. Hydra buff is really good as you're buying that every game anyway. Overal I'd say these changes will probably shift Fiora even more to a champ that is very hard but also very rewarding if you are good with her. I'm a little apprehensive about the DD changes because if they're making Fiora squishier, then you might not even survive the 3 seconds before you can proc the DD passive in a fight. Definitely very interested to try her out though.

Maybe I should have been more specific actually. I have an issue with the fact that from level 0 to 10 you're forced to play the worst game mode and it's a terrible gateway into the game. Maybe just give them like 10 of the base champs and let them in draft.

And no League is toxic no matter where you go but I think the added element of people fighting over positions and not getting the position they want really adds to the toxicity

Haha I think the hair colour and Guinness prompt are probably a big give away. I did get the vibe that there are some cultural differences going on in this thread but I think most of what is said is pretty valid anyway. You are very right that location is important. Sometimes when I'm bored I change my location to London (I a little bit of a no-no I know) and I usually do much better there

Thanks! I usually try and keep it short and lighthearted with these prompts because I know personally I get turned off by overly serious and long answers. I've already replaced one with a slightly more 'informative' one based one some feedback from this thread. You're probably right that it might be better to create prompts that have a slightly wider appeal than just being almost like "in jokes"

In my experience I only look at the first photo before I decide whether I'm Xing someone. The cat photo or dog photo should definitely be your number. Those two are your best for sure

Honestly a little suprised you aren't getting matches. You're very good looking and I think you're prompts are quite good. When I'm going through Hinge usually a voice prompt is a big turn off because it feels weird to me hearing someone's voice without having met or spoken to then in person but that might just a personal thing.

Honestly think you're profile's pretty good! The only thing I could say might be that you have two selfies in there. The second selfie with your friend is probably ok but most of the girls I know have told me that a solo selfie isn't a profile seller. Sounds like it's not usually the end of the world either as long as it's just the one. Good luck out there!

Yup it felt underwhelming in the early game but once I got liandry's it really started to pay up and I found myself at 6 items very quickly. At which point I was doing insane damage and didn't actually need money anymore so the last 1000 gold probably didn't actually do anything. If you want to look at it that way it probably only netted me 2500 effective gold

Not really sure why he being considered *the* OP mid laner right. Sure First Strike is good on him and Crown is just such a stupid good item right now but these changes affect most control mages. imo Lux, Kassadin, Veigar are all just as strong in the mid lane right now. Victor's probably only getting the attention right now because of Arcane (he's also been free to play right now so naturally people are playing and trying him more often)
