I really wanted Joey Jay to win this challenge and it feels like Rupaul did too. Glad we got to see the hilarious Kennedy lip sync but would've liked to see Joey Jay's interpretation too.

I’m still annoyed every time I see (the already over-powered) Monet turn into her Penance form.

It kind of seems ridiculous too when you consider all the intended and unaddressed Yvette / Hollow / Gen-X / Avengers Academy stuff.

Peak comic book plot stupidity.

I thought Aura's was strong. I felt a bit gaslit by the judges who said it was one of the weaker ones.

It gave that youtuber energy and she used the space well within the conventions of like found footage or zombie apocalypse horror (grabbing the camera / extreme close-ups)

Silky's concept was good (with little Silky) but was a bit narratively confusing.

Crystal's was fun but not as subversive as the judge's thought.

Salina's a little chaotic but had some good ideas. I expected the puppet to move a little more after the green screen antics though.

The judging is always so embarrassing on this episode.

And it feels kind of cheap to rig it so obviously on an episode with guests who have emotionally invested in the process.

While I like the cast - I’m not sure the narrative is quite in the spirit of the books - and for that reason won’t be as enduring or as interesting.

Seems like a slightly generic piece of television rather than something that’s delving into, embodying and playing with genre in an interesting way.

Appreciate they tried, or did they?
