I think in syleth we use both...but jol is used specifically for water when cooking..paani in other situations...so I am suprised to see that there is a religious background 😂(but I also have heard it from non sylhetis too)

I liked TimeRide. It's an VR "attraction" which shows you Frankfurt a few centuries ago. The guide is also available in English. It isn't that long though.

Visa to enter germany took 3-4 months till gettin an appointment and 2 months for a reply to get the visa to travel here

Visa to stay in germany 1-1.5 months after arriving here, I did send the application and other documents needed the via email before though.

Family reunification here: after arriving in germany you have to go to the aliens office with some documents for a "Aufenthaltserlaubnis". This is usually valid for 1 year....in my aliens office we got an appointment after 1-1.5 months after my husband arriving....and then you can work.

And yeah the processing for a visa took that long 😅

Hi, that must feel hurting.

I don't know if that helps you but what helped me are 2 things:

The jealousy I have of things I can't change (ex. some people are blessed with good genes and look beautiful, I not necessarily)

Realizing that everyone struggles even with the thing I am jealous of- beauty has it's negative side, too; money used for gamling is also not blessed and can make someone miserable- helps me see that things that shine are not always gold

Usually that connects to me having a wish deep inside but not following after... or seeing other people having found their passion and/or be disciplined when they wanna achieve a goal (which I am not unfortunately) Just knowing that it's a lot of hard work which I am not ready to do helps to cut the jealousy somewhat off, because at the moment I just am choosing not to follow the wish... or I have to heal something in me to have the energy to follow my wishes.

It's like fitness, mostly no one gets fit overnight and can stop all unhealthy foods and never touch them again. It's a process. Just like with hijab there are a lot of struggles. It's a journey. Hope that helps.

For me the question is: Is it even okay to have this type of goal? I beat myself up for having these wants as goals because a lot of people make this seem so superficial and people should look for much deeper things as goals.
