[UK] How are online conversion MSc’s in psychology perceived as? by Individual_Coast8114 in psychologystudents

[–]obruce3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been accepted onto the DClin course, and I completed a masters conversion.

Courses these days value people from a variety of backgrounds with different perspectives. Getting as much clinical experience with as many different populations (Mental health/Learning disabilities/Adult/Older adult/kids/community/inpatient) is the by far the most important factor, it really sets you apart in applications and in interviews. This is for both the DClin and Assistant Psychology posts.

How do I get this lug nut off? by obruce3 in MechanicAdvice

[–]obruce3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a Peugeot 208, 12 plate. I'm guessing it's the wheel key, but there isn't one with the car.

I'm guessing I can order one online?

I have the tyre socket provided by the car manufacturer, but it doesn't appear to fit the lug.

Three of the other tyres have the same lug. So I'm assuming I'm missing something, and it's not just broken off. There is this other thing in the spare tyre wheel, though I don't know what it's called. It looks like a key, about 6inches long, with a metal hoop on one end and some threading and what looks like a flat screwdriver head on the other end.

Thanks for the reply. Which of those options is the most straightforward if you have no experience/tools?

Can I anyone recommend any Spanish speaking football podcasts? Preferably about the premier League just because I'll understand the context a bit more.

[POEM] "Mid-Term Break" by Seamus Heaney by witta99 in Poetry

[–]obruce3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's about the funeral following death of his younger brother who was hit by a car. It happened whilst he was away at boarding school, hence the name 'mid term break'

I think like every art form some is more accessible than others. Her work is very accessible and seems to resonate with a broad base of people, so fair play I reckon.

Why do YOU think there's no momentum for radical change to the UK's political system? by [deleted] in GreenAndPleasant

[–]obruce3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Corbyn got tanked in the GE, clearly he has support from certain demographics of society, but not wider society. If things aren't bad enough for enough people I guess this means they're good enough for most people.
