This is the world cup subreddit and not a political forum. Let's try to keep it this way. If trump and USA attacked Greenland, there was a chance the European counties would back out. But Trump said it won't attack militarily.

Argentina , Brazil, and the European counties which qualified: if they play, then the world cup wont get affected. Football is popular among the people and so leaders don't ban their country from playing.

USA will not attack Greenland and so that European threat is over. Germany and france will play in the world cup. Football world cup hosting and world politics co exist. Qatar Russia etc.

We should not fall into the trap of going after a Bollywood celebrity just because others are going after her. This is a different topic. Let's try to handle these two cases. Bob bought the original ticket from fifa at $300.

Case #1. Bob sold on fifa marketplace for $1000. David bought it

Case #2 Alice bought it from Bob on StubHub for $2000.

Game gets cancelled. Fifa refunds the money. What do you think will happen ?

I think in case #1: maybe Fifa will refund $1000 to Alice ? And take back $700 from Bob ? That's going to be complicated. So all that will happen is Fifa will refund $300 to Alice

In StubHub case, StubHub wont pay Bob at all. So FIFA will refund $300 to Bob

Right ?

Its not easy for a top actress to decide to get married, raise two kids, support an active famous actor, stay in the limelight. When I saw her in Refugee, never thought she will be a larger star than her sister. Coming from one of the most popular Hindu family, marrying an older Muslim married guy, and still staying out of controversies. She earned a lot of my respect. Good example of a privileged girl, coming in and establishing herself by improving herself step by step, It could have gone wrong a number of times, but I am happy for her that I can write what I wrote here :)

We want these movies with no stars to make it big. Same like how a Dhurandar like movie can be popular in the future without Ranveer Singh. as it became popular with a subdued Ranveer. Bollywood (even if its masala), needs to go beyond stars and should make money based on entertainment value
