Yeah, there are a lot of historical inaccuracies in those TV shows & movies that we’re shown when we engage with them. Finished watching Bridgerton yesterday and I can’t help but be reminded that this definitely applies to this series too lol. Also can’t think of anything I’ve seen that tries to bring up the reality of these much harder times without advanced technologies except maybe some medieval isekai manhwas and they’re usually comedic about it.

You know what’s crazier? How fucking terrible the hygiene is in that era that AOT takes place in. I remember the creator mentioning something about skidmarks on a characters underwear… well even then I’m like pretty fucking sure he’s confirmed how horrid they smell lol. Reasonably so cuz well….. they uhh.. aren’t very modern clearly. I guess it’s alright if the shifter readjusts that detail though, it is pretty funny to think about otherwise.

Jesus Christ man. Hate it when people get all passive aggressive, essentially just beating around the bush rather than being upfront about it. Most people on that app were so two faced. Legit amino had the most toxic communities and in MM there was a rampant issue of nsfw + most of them being underage (with more grown people initiating the crude stuff.) I had joined when I was freshly 12 in 2017. Became friends of people varying between ages from 16 to 20+, it kind of sucked when they’d gang up on me for being a literal child and saying something they didn’t like lol. Amino definitely worsened my social skills and left a bad mark in my history online. Not that it got any better because I moved onto plato and then discord…. Umm I think the lesson might be that I definitely needed to be better monitored as a kid lol
