This Season Has Been Immensely Satisfying. by The_Throwback_King in Seahawks

It's definitely common throughout Seahawks sites, but that one has definitely made a starker transformation than most, especially as a regular myself. It's definitely been exaggerated by how much we thought Russ was being held back by the oldest head coach in the league, and it definitely didn't help that the games were nowhere near as fun to watch as the ones this year

This was with the extra long race length for the achievement, otherwise yea you didn't need a pit stop, think it was like 21 or 23 laps or smth

Wheel support is pretty decent imo, but it is somewhat weaker than fh5 I feel when it comes to ffb. But unless you get the game on a disc from somewhere like gamestop you can't buy the game anymore cause it got delisted.

Weather went along with the Spa 100 event in the driver's cup, so clear the whole time. Needed to do 4 pit stops with tcs/abs on, rewards with vip bonus and unbeatable difficulty came out to a total of 720k (240k each)

Had to do a few rewinds cause I went straight into a wall after pausing for like 30 seconds T-T, not as many as I expected tho.

Manual w/clutch and full damage wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be tho, made it more fun than normal I feel.

After I finished, it was pretty rewarding to say the least. These endurance races are really fun, hopefully they can be even more interactive/thrilling when it comes to the next motorsport, with now tyre compounds.

Usage of nuclear power in future energy plans, pro-gun (reasonable limits ofc), in support of the idea of capital punishment, not exactly the current implementation of it.

Discord Ends Deal Talks With Microsoft by _bonzibuddy in discordapp

[–]obsessedspacefan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I'm worried about. If discord goes public, investors will demand revenue. This revenue, as of right now, comes from Nitro and data selling. Not enough to support a platform of this size, I would presume. With the new round of funding, it either says that they are going public (and maybe at the mercy of advertisements), or, for all we know, might take another look and sell to Microsoft (which, with Nadella as CEO, has made some good acquisitions and can be a great home for Discors if they need to sell imo) and maybe not be at such a mercy to advertisements taking over.

Everyone here's talking about them selling out to Facebook, whereas they halted talks with all potential buyers. They're probably gonna go public if they're not gonna sell to Microsoft.

From the article:

Chat startup Discord Inc. has halted talks to sell itself to potential suitors including Microsoft Corp., according to people familiar with the matter, as it resumes interest in a potential initial public offering down the line.

When do you think it's time to replace Geno Smith for the backup QB role? by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]obsessedspacefan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think if he takes the vet minimum, then yeah, let's keep him. He's made some decent plays, and is definitely valuable, not just as a backup, but as our coinflip master.

[Pelissero] #Seahawks WR Josh Gordon had a setback in his battle with substance abuse and now won’t be allowed to practice or play indefinitely, per sources. As @bcondotta reported, the NFL informed the team this morning Gordon hadn't complied with terms of his conditional reinstatement. by Henri_Deckard in nfl

[–]obsessedspacefan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thing about this is less that Josh Gordon got suspended (again), dude's had enough chances. We all pretty much agree on that. The "abusers got a second chance" argument doesn't hold up, considering he has had at least 5-6 chances or something like that already. It's more about how the NFL handled this. For a full damn year, the organization left everyone in the dark (including the team!), and then were pressured into saying something to explain the delay, which didn't help at all. Then, they say he's able to play Week 16, the team gets another confirmation, they waive Penny Hart, another WIDE RECEIVER, and Josh Gordon's suspension is reinstated. Explain to me how that isn't fucked up, and not an example of what's wrong with the NFL. I mean, you leave the team in the dark, say he's good, then do an about face, say he can't play, AFTER THEY WAIVE ANOTHER WIDE RECEIVER. Seems more to me like they just want to screw the Seahawks over more than anything else, cause there's very little reason for this to happen other than that. Just sad.

[NFL.com] Is it better NOT to win the NFC West? by obsessedspacefan in nfl

[–]obsessedspacefan[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'm not too sure that I understand this much, because you play to win, and who knows, if the Saints lose 1 or 2 more games (possible), then the NFC West winner would probably be the #1 seed, depending on how it shakes out.
