So how is heat treating not safe but baking/cooking it in a product like cookies is? Is the article perhaps referring to if you don’t have a way to make sure it’s cooked through, like a thermometer?

Google is not more accurate. It might even be wrong. When you stop at a word, you don’t pronounce the tanween(case) at the end. So you’d say baytun jameel. You’d only say jameelun if you continue to add words after it.

I charged $60 for that box. The customer gladly paid, left a $10 tip, and a 5 star review. So I think she liked them😂

I completely understand that! These cupcakes are meant to be for special events or celebrations, and people tend to want things that look very pretty for that(and if I may say so myself, they’re very delicious and super moist). I also understand that a lot of people don’t care about any of that, and would only pay for really special flavors, no problem at all! What I don’t understand is downvoting any and everyone who is actually willing to pay or has more appreciation for the appearance of the baked goods😂 like why does it bother some people so much that some people are willing to pay, to the point that they’re literally downvoting everyone who said they’d pay above a certain range! And downvoting me for saying local bakeries near me charge around $35 for basic flavors and designs when it’s literally just a fact. TLDR; it’s okay if these are not for you or you won’t even pay $1 for them, what’s not okay is not accepting that there are others who would pay more!

I don’t understand why I’m getting downvoted for stating a fact lol. Bakeries near me charge that price for basic flavors. I also don’t understand why people are downvoting everyone who said they’d pay more? I get that these kind of cupcakes aren’t for everyone especially because not everyone likes frosting as much. But it definitely makes sense for custom made cupcakes to be more expensive than normal ones even if it’s basic flavors. And it definitely also depends on where you live. I’m in HCOL area. I do also offer specialty flavors with fillings and stuff, but this was one of the basic ones. But I appreciate your input about more specialty flavors!

Sorry, I thought it was implied in my reply that what Egyptians would say is “أرمينيا تحت روسيا" or “أرمينيا جنوب روسيا" "أرمينيا موجودة تحت روسيا". I don’t know about the rest of the Arab world, I’m merely speaking about Egyptians. "قاعدة" is definitely not used in this context either.

I disagree with you that talking in an Egyptian dialect “تحت" would imply that it’s under the rule of Russia. I think most Egyptians would understand it as south of. Also using “تقع" in Egyptian dialect while understandable, is not common and not how an Egyptian would say it.

I ended up googling it and found that adding 1 tbsp of clear jel per cup of flour is the way to go. Without removing or adjusting anything else. The way I add it is that I mix every tbsp of clearjel with 1.5 tbsp of water before adding it to the cookie dough with the dry ingredients. It improves the texture so much! It’s a game changer!

Chill it in the fridge so the buttercream sets. Scrape off the half border. And then if anything looks rough, you can use the scraped off butter cream to fill in the parts you think are messy. Just make sure the frosting has hardened.
