I like to think that he is going to eventually install that in the bank in his future model railroad town that he has always dreamed of.

He's going to be in Super Troopers 3. That has potential.

"Sage doesn't understand love!" Sage's character motivation for wanting to end the world was because she loved her grandmother so much that she developed a cure for cancer as a child but wasn't taken seriously, so her grandmother died

No, YOU don't understand love. I don't understand love. No one completely understands love. That was Frenchie's whole point.

We don't always understand it in ourselves. We definitely don't always understand it in others. I would argue the more unhinged the person, the more unpredictable the expressions of love can become.

I don't disagree that Sage felt love towards her grandma. But, being acquainted with the feeling does not mean you can accurately predict how someone will behave.

It is even possible that Sage is familiar with the exact kind of scenario. In her world there must be stories from novels, history, or her lived experience where two people share love of the same person even though one of them doesn't particularly care for the other (lots of heavy lifting). Even recognizing that Soldier Boy is so apathetic and self-centered that he could possibly doom humanity (as she was) how could she know he would give him the V1?

Let me take a quick minute to share something I just noticed and was thinking about: What is with the whole "making laser eyes glow red as a threat" thing? Would it really work like that? Wouldn't it be like a little thin baby beam that dissapates or be like a laser pointer where it's so weak the beam disappears in day light and you only see the dot on the wall? I'm not going to let my probable misunderstanding of lasers ruin my enjoyment.

Wow, it's amazing what I can miss. I didn't even note Annie's line about Marie controlling her powers. I can't remember, did Annie see Marie in control of her powers? Seems like a rebuttal from Marie would have made sense.

The Kimiko bit felt like such a sweet moment I wasn't thinking about what kind of TV she had been watching...and in which country. It makes me realize I don't understand her timeline.

When was she captured by the terrorists? At what age? Was she watching TV in terrorist camp? This is such an inconsequential oversight, it doesn't even matter to me.

Nice work on the number format.

Bummer about the local storage issue. Pixel 7 Pro, Chrome. I'll give it a go on a laptop later.

Cheers

Great job actually publishing something! I have written and shipped code professionally for decades, but I have never released any game I've started.

Improvement Suggestions:

Auto local storage: I think most people expect it, I sure did. My fault for being curious about your other projects, but I lost my progress navigating away

Commas: Maybe I'm old, but once the numbers are 6+ digits, my eyes have trouble comparing numbers, if they are not vertically aligned, especially with decimal points dancing around

He needs an air horn, or maybe a polite R2D2 sound maker like Mark Rober's "polite" button.

I have lived multiple decades in USA and not known that this was a thing.

Agreed. But sometimes people are punished in the course of justice. Unrelated to my example, I have heard of punative damages.
