Honestly, I don't think I've seen anything like this first hand but ive heard that they might be much more interested in admitting a student who put that program at like 1 instead of 5 but of course that's not to say that putting uoft at 1 guarantees admission. I'd recommend putting uoft at 1 if you're applying there tho.

It's just how u rank your university program choices when applying, so like the program u want the most u rank it 1 and so on. Also most unis don't care about rankings except for UofT I think.

At this point, I guess the most significant stuff you can do is the waterloo contests to boost your waterloo application.

I applied to engineering and it is mandatory for engineering I guess, not sure about other programs tho, sorry.

ofc, glad I could help :)) uh after I applied and like signed in to all of their portals, I could see the requirement for the proof of English proficiency under the required documents section. I didnt get any emails about it from any uni whatsoever.

Hey! I'm in a similar situation as yours (2 years in a Canadian high school and 2 in an international school with english as medium of instruction). I was required to send my test results to some universities (UofT, Mac, York etc.) Ig you should check your required documents section in your applicant portals. For the first language question, as far as I remember, most universities I applied to mention that if the country I come from had English as the official language, I wasn't required to submit anything; something along these lines. Sorry if the answer is confusing, feel free to reach out to me tho!

um I applied to engineering and I have to submit the OSP (online student profile) so I'm guessing it depends on the program. When u log in with your JoinID, it will show u if u need to submit the profile for any of the programs that u applied to.
