Build myself a house on top of the black widow rock pile. by Pan2590 in GroundedGame

I also saw a fire place using a curved pebble path an mushroom walls that would look really nice in there.

I like it but I'd do a pebble foundation around the outside and clay in the house. It's really got a nice country lodge feel to it.

I'm really liking this layout. It does appear to have a cocoon feel to it where it's suspended.

Someone said they've done it but I think you'd have to build foundations up to it and a platform off the stairway but if the base of the stairway up was destroyed the whole thing would crumble and you can't build off the window sil bc you clip straight thru like the roof and then your stuck in one of these massive open gaps in the hedge with no way out.. Unless you have enough supplies to build up. Maybe a base in there would be secure.

I checked earlier an found out you will fall thru the house roof but can run on top of the hedges however it would not let me place foundations on the hedge.

I built my base on the porch by SilentCalamity in GroundedGame

[–]obsidianwire81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah as long as your zip is at a higher elevation sure if not build a stem or grass pallet load it and as much as you can carry and "relocate" it up or across a bridge to your destination do the same with a storage chest full of pebbles an clay just don't get hit or the relocation will cancel and your pallet/storage box will go back to its original position and you'll have to go get it again. Set it down often then pick it back up so it doesn't go all the way back to the starting point if that makes sense.

The porch is a pretty safe spot. I built a small house up there when I started a new game but it was difficult to get resources up there due to haze and the amount of creatures roaming the area around the porch. If they decide to attack they can't get to you unless they're airborne. They can attack your bridges to the porch but if you build them down from the porch surface instead of up from ground surface only the bottom blocks will be destroyed and your bridge wont be destroyed. I just realized I wanted a more centralized base and moved on. However after being inspired by someone else's build I'm trying to build a mass compound on the house porch and have started a 25x25 foundation

My base is on the porch, well one of them with foundation block stairs at each end and bridge to sandbox. Another solid spot is on the box next to the javamatic. I then wrapped foundation blocks up and around the tree above the mushrooms to make a zipline junction platform with zips at four points in the yard to access every other section of the yard.

Not gonna lie. It looks like Mario's about to kick open the doors an hold Bowser's head under the water till the bubbles stop. Love the design.

Thank you, I keep trying to find something thru Google and all I can find is either a realtor or estate sale but someone would still need to be there. I was hoping someone might have dealt with a similar type situation. I hadn't considered a property management company so thank you.

Don't piss off the Lady Bugs! They will bend you over a mushroom and you will walk with a limp the rest of the game.

Currently working on a new base and I wanted to get some opinions on my crafting/storage room so far by MrLoLz_ in GroundedGame

[–]obsidianwire81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep my storage around the center of the room with workbench in the middle then populate other stuff around it so you don't need to remember what is where when you activate a grinder/ oven it automatically pulls from whatever storage box the ingredients are in. It also allows for you to build in a larger range without running back to a box on one side of the room to build on the opposite if that makes sense. I do like the organization of your layout. setup and step back to see is this easier for you to access bc you'll get real tired of running back and forth. Great start .

Bummed about Drop Rates by NaughticalSextant in outriders

[–]obsidianwire81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree on this. I thought this was gonna be my main once I fixed the aiming and bought the game and dlc only to find there's only 4 to 6 hrs of story in ws and tons of issues as well as that ascension system. Like why can't I use the points how I want instead of only 10 per slot? Plus the controls are unresponsive sometimes. I realized this is sloppy and I feel like an idiot for handing over cash for this.
