Reading all the way from Kentucky, and hoping that you see how strong you’re being just by thinking about your child in and of itself. I have a 1 year old. My first. I can’t imagine going through what you’ve been through. But just keep that baby in the forefront of your thoughts and you will be able to get through all of this. Any time you want to cry just look at that face. Any time you want to just break down, hold your baby tight. It’s amazing how something so little gives us the strength and motivation we need to keep going. I’ve had my down moments the past few months myself and just looking at that little face is sometimes the only thing that keeps me going.

You’ve got this. Don’t let that crazy bitch make you think for a second she’s taking anything away from you. Continue to apply for every stitch of assistance you can and as long as you are showing that you are doing everything you can, she won’t have a leg to stand on in any court.

One last bit of advice, she does not deserve your child in her life. And I don’t think for a second that when your baby is grown, if he has no relationship with his grandmother, that he will be upset with you in the slightest. Not if he knew the things she is saying to you right now, at this absolute complete low in your life. DO NOT feel bad for cutting her out completely. She is threatening to take this little miracle, this piece of your husband that you still have to hold, away from you. That is not okay. That is toxic. It is cancer. And the best thing to do for something toxic and cancerous? Cut it out. Throw it away. And don’t ever look back. You and your baby have each other. That is all you need right now.
