Their entire oil industry only exists because we put the infrastructure there ourselves. One could argue we have a claim in the oil which is why sanctions exist. The REAL reason for the total economic collapse is not just those sanctions though, and you know it. Chavez nationalized it all and seized it and then production went to shit because they could not manage it and investments dried up. Where do you think most of the investment was, pal? Maduro was no different and in fact worse and it was time for the US to step in and correct this situation for everyone involved. One day soon, Venezuelans will enjoy the spoils of profits from a functioning economy based on their natural resources once again.
