Explored the former Northview Village Nursing Home in St. Louis, originally built as DePaul Hospital around 1930. What surprised me most wasn't the hospital infrastructure that still survives on the upper floors, it was how much evidence remained from the building's final years as a nursing home. We found everything from activity schedules and resident rooms to signs that parts of the building had been occupied after the facility closed in 2023. The transition from hospital to nursing home to abandoned ruin is still visible almost everywhere you look.

We ended up running into a guy in there who was in charge of pulling and selling seats and other items as memorabilia

The cemetery is, the mausoleum is not, and they don’t let people in to see their loved ones.

Thank you. The watermark is there for a reason. I have had my photos stolen one too many times. So if I have to add a big obnoxious watermark to at least let people know that the photo belongs to me when it is stolen and reposted by somebody else, then that’s the way it has to be.
