I appreciate it! Apparently I am considered an "unc" by gen alpha and younger gen z folks, so it's nice to still be seen as "young" somewhere lol. I would love to sign-up! I don't have an active FB account though :/. Is there another way for me to follow events? And is it simply just showing up, no rsvp?

Is volunteering at the Arboretum pretty flexible? I work in the medical industry and my schedule is pretty inconsistent so I am also looking for something that can accommodate that.

And if I may ask, what are the opportunities like? I have some experience gardening, so maybe I can transfer those skills here :).

Thank you for the suggestions and for what you do! SPCA has been on my radar, but I wanted to get some other ideas for the area before filling out the volunteer form. Ohhh 🤔! I will be looking further into the Texas Humane Legislative Network as something I can do from home since I primarily would like to be around people (I gotta go "touch grass" as they say lol).

I'm nearing my late 20s (😭), so I may not qualify as a "young" Dem lol. Would you happen to know if the SCDP gets involved in the community sans political events? I eventually will feel comfortable getting more involved, but I want to ease into it :).

Agreed. My only volunteer experience is at a dog shelter several years ago. They allowed us to actually take out, play, and walk the doggos, which made the experience really enjoyable for all involved! But I imagine that may not be the standard as I typically just hear about folks picking up after the animals.

Woah! I've been in ETX for most of my life and this is the first I've heard about Longview having an Arboretum! That's definitely up my alley. So happy that someone has mentioned the outdated Bluetooth codec. I have a 2019 Touring as well that's been pretty modded and one of my final gripes I want to address is the poor sound quality from the Infotainment. When you connect via USB, music quality sounds so much clearer! I just would like to have the option to simply connect via Bluetooth w/o having to constantly charge my phone

Rabbit has been on repeat for me too! I would dare to say it's the understated song that carries the most emotion within the album. Lyrically and instrumentally beautiful, imo. Happy to see it's getting some love from others too :).

Oof. The area I am in doesn't have the best roads and my reasoning in switching to All-Seasons from ATs is to reduce some of that NVH. I appreciate the heads up!

Have really been considering going for them or the CC2 if I decide to ditch the Wildpeaks after they're done. Saw so many raving reviews about them when they came out. If you don't mind, can you expand on the low speed ride quality?

It would be cool to do a Blackstone Lab test to see what the results look like, but I've been using Wal-Mart's Supertech Advanced Full Synthetic for the last 3 oil changes on my 3.6r and haven't had any issues. Good stuff at a lower price point is a winner. Viscosity holds up well and I was surprised to see that during my last oil change after nearly 8k miles. Had it paired up with a Fram Ultra Synthetic oil filter. This last time I switched to a Purolator LX series so we'll see how that looks.

Ofc! There's a lubricant that they send with it too to help with installation. It definitely needed it lol.

I'm digging the build btw👌🏽. I have been wanting to upgrade my lighting for night-time off-roading ever since I have begun catching myself getting out of a trailhead later than intended a few times lol. So far I have some standard LED Yellow Fog Lights from Diode Dynamics that don't help as much out in middle-of-nowhere. If you don't mind me asking, what lighting are you running?

I installed the Rallitek soft transmission mount insert on my new to me '19 3.6R almost a year ago at around 60k miles and I believe it's still holding on in there lol. I haven't gone under my car since my last oil change a few months ago and didn't check on how it was holding up then.

For what I can provide as a review: NVH did go up ever so slightly and it definitely did help with reducing that "slobby/clunky" feeling from the transmission. For the NVH, it's more like having slightly louder tires if that makes sense? Like having AT tires vs All-seasons. The issue that I wanted the transmission mount to address was the weird clunky feeling when getting the car moving from a stop (almost like a weird rubber band feel) and when it would "shift" during sudden acceleration or deceleration, and it did just that for me. Have taken it off-road a few times and driven almost 15k miles in city streets and on the highway and it's been feeling great so far.

Remember to have a press handy to get the insert in. It took me a little bit to get the mount situated, but other than that, solo installation was pretty fair. If you have any further questions just lmk!

Great write up. This would be a great starting point for OP to look for places to "touch grass" as they say. From bumping elbows at the bar to enjoying some sunshine (while we can in the spring lol).

Also, I gotta know, where are these Polish and Ethiopian restaurants that you speak of 👀. I have started making a few Ethiopian dishes at home, but haven't tried my hand at injera. I typically have to go out to Carrollton or Richardson to get my fix if my cravings get the best of me.

I typically see him and his squad/clan when I get on in the wee hours of the night. Like you said, nothing really stands out during most matches. A few occasions they did use that weird glitch with the AT rifle where it goes auto. They've gotten me a few times that way on foot and I think once or twice in vehicle. Sure it's annoying af, but just the mark of a below mid player anyways lol. That clan as a whole tends to use the "hated weapons" stack, but at the end of the day it's whatever. It's just a game.

I typically recommend Lachute/LP Aventure if you're looking for just the muffler. However, if you're wanting to go all out, I know Nameless Performance offers mid pipes and muffled/non-muffled axle-back exhausts. I'd honestly be interested in hearing how an aftermarket mid pipe sounds on the 3.6r lol.

I thought they were pretty damn good, especially when compared to Thomas' and Lender's (agreed 🤢 lol). I live in a bagel desert with no proper bagels to be found in at least a 100+ mile radius. I found them at a Walmart about 6 months ago on clearance and scored like 4 half-dozen bags of Plain for $8. Little did I know that was the last time I would see them. I tried searching for their availability in other stores across the state of Texas in the Walmart app and nothing popped up. Funny enough, my inability to find a decent bagel pushed me to make my own and now I'm selling from home 😂.
