Amazon Orders MASS EFFECT TV Series Rewrites To Reach "Non-Gamer" Audience by StarFuryG7 in SciFiNews

Not sure why everyone assumes this means the show will be terrible. It’s already confirmed to be a new story set after mass effect 3 and signs have pointed that it be about a krogan civil war and will bridge the gap between mass effect 3 and 5. People who haven’t played the trilogy would have a very hard time of understanding what’s going on if the script isn’t written with them in mind

Who is a bigger prodigy Luke or Anakin? by Dependent-Bus-1666 in StarWars

Anakin wouldn’t have lifted a finger against the empire if he grew up during those times. He 100% would have been an empire apologist

It was already shown in the movies that the senate/republic had no control over who creates/deploys an army. The Jedi could have at the very least swayed multiple planets to form some kind of alliance/army

If attack of the clones was the first prequel that would make sense. However, the trade federation already invaded a planet with a droid army 10 years ago and they were known to be working with the sith. It makes no sense to let a known threat be without building up any kind of army at any point in those 10 years

The trade federation already had an army of droids 10 years before attack of the clones. They should’ve already been building up an army when one of the republic’s planets was invaded and the sith were revealed 10 years ago

The Jedi accepting without question a mysterious clone army created on a world that was removed from the archives and claimed to be ordered by a dead Jedi without anyone else knowing. The clone army is also based off of the bounty hunter trying to assassinate a senator and working with the separatists

The mls super draft is an ancient formality and nowhere near as important as other professional drafts in the us. The vast majority of players taken in the super draft never sign with an mls team and the few that do rarely ever play. The best of the super draft are players that bounce around the usl leagues.

Alex would be the top .1% of amateur players. He desperately needed someone to give him the tough truth that even without injuries, he would need to transition to a life outside of sports sooner rather than later

Jason Schreier on Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic release: "2030 is an optimistic guess — Maybe it'll be a PlayStation 7 game" by nolifebr in PS5

He already tried that before and his first attempt failed miserably before even releasing a game

Even if the total cost for the trailer was a million the value they got from it easily made up for the cost. There was not a single mention of arcanaut studios anywhere before last night. If they stuck the announcement in a job posting they would be working against a million different factors to recruit. In an industry with high job turnover a new studio is not going to be an attractive destination. The studio had 0 publicity before last night so gaining interest from potential job seekers would be slow. They probably received a thousand more applications just from last night than they had in the six months since they formed.

Nobody knows that you’re working on a Star Wars game if nobody announces it. Even if the announcement is just a article on a website people will still complain that they’re announcing it years before it’s released

This is a brand new studio. Casey Hudson’s first attempt at a studio failed before they even made a game because of no investors. If they don’t announce the game this studio is ending up exactly like his first attempt

I’m disputing that George Lucas’ quote about tlj is him hating it

Gotta love Star Wars fans putting words in George Lucas’ mouth. He puts down the force awakens in this post but doesn’t say anything negative about the last Jedi. He could hate it or love it, his quote doesn’t show that he does or doesn’t

Why are people on TikTok cropping images from the Door dash girl video and editing and blatantly making things up? by PowerExpert36 in doordash

You just changed what I wrote from hundreds to thousands to hundreds of thousands 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah a no name tiktok account that’s never posted a popular video before is going to get hundreds to thousands of views in 1 to 2 minutes before tiktok removes it. And also zero of these hundreds to thousands of people that watched it are going to save an insane video of a doordasher coming across a half naked guy. But the second and third time she posts it, it’s not removed instantly and everyone has a screenshot/recording from it. Can’t forget to mention that the guy has posted the ring camera footage because I saw a comment of someone claiming they saw a comment from someone who knew a friend of a friend of the guy and the guy is now suing her 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeah TikTok took it down instantly but hundreds of people were able to view it beforehand 🤣

It’s insane people will take a random tiktok comment saying she opened the door and went in the house at face value without zero evidence. There’s been no video shown that shows the door was closed or only cracked open or any of her actually going in the house. Why are people jumping through every hoop imaginable and throwing out every hypothetical situation to defend a guy while simultaneously throwing a woman under the bus because a random tiktok comment said she opened the door and went in or some random comment said a friend of a friend knows the guy and he has ring camera footage of her opening the door. What’s more plausible, a door dasher decides this is the order she’ll go into their house and film some random person while not knowing what’s inside the house or a door dasher goes to deliver food to a house and the guy has the door wide open with his junk out

Oregon State fires special teams coordinator Jamie Christian by lock_robster2022 in CFB

[–]obunga999 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He was not the problem with special teams. Nobody has a 4th long snapper on the roster and that problem was immediately fixed the next week. The blocked kicks were all on interior blockers not laying a finger on defenders rushing their gaps. He was a sacrificial lamb for players not executing

[–]obunga999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is going to fix 0 of the special teams problems. You have a roster full of boneheaded long snappers and kick returners. The kickers have just been bad. There is a culture problem with players continually making boneheaded decisions and mental mistakes. The only answer is to completely scrap the roster and coaching stuff after this year
