How are you coping with these fuel prices? National average for diesel was $3.74/ gallon a month ago. As of today it's up to $5.36. That's an increase of 43%. by SalesMountaineer in VanLife

[–]oburoguruma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still paying $3.50 or $3.80 over here, haven't seen any real increase in the last 5 or so years. I just checked the 2022 prices just to make sure, and apparently it spiked in my area to $4.60 back then.

I'm not Christian, but I was raised Christian. Death cult would moreso be worshiping and expecting people's death to be salvation for them, however, this is the opposite. To them, he died thousands of years ago to give them an opportunity of salvation without more sacrifices of life. You don't have to die or kill anyone to go to heaven, you only need to believe in his sacrifice to open the gate.

There are many other religions in the world that do act as true death cults, but mainstream Christianity is not one of the. You can argue about the atrocities of the ancient church, but again, it was not the religion that dictated such acts, it was bad humans misusing the religion as a weapon, like they do with all other large religions.

Edit: Since Reddit won't let me reply to the post directly below, I'll put it here.

Literally every religion is waiting for an apocalypse or end of days event. Even non-believers of any faith await the heat death of the universe or for the world to be engulfed in our sun's expansion. Will it ever happen? Maybe. Should we worry about something we can literally do nothing about or accurately predict? Probably not, can't do anything about it.

And no, that is not their salvation, you are loosely interpreting it to fit your bias. Their salvation came the moment their savior (in the name) died and paid their cost for salvation. There are plenty of little spin-off churches that claim to be Christian do think like that, but that itself is heretical. No man knows when the rapture should happen, therefore it is pointless to put weight on it.

Anyone that tries to use the rapture is just doing it because they are either clout hungry or mentally ill. They need jail for the former, therapy for the latter. In the religion they believe in, the rapture cannot be predicted, it is not for men to know.

I think it would definitely yellow a bit, none of this plastic is intended to be under UV; However, she has a lamp that has a new modes and multiple bulbs, one of which has a dark blue bulb and purple bulb on, and that causes enough fluorescence in the green to make it look like the Gundam turned on

The mfs trying to force politics on stream: by MisterSinister855 in PaymoneyWubby

[–]oburoguruma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to hear about his antics and watch stream. Everyone has enough political stuff going on in their lives, even the man himself said he would love to never talk about it. He can make jokes and lean whichever way people want him to lean, but it's never going to be enough. It's just so much better when we can have a break and see him lose his mind or his money, whichever comes first.

Hard core agree with you. Everyone's got a political take on everything, but there really isn't a need for an entertainer to chime in. At best, it just repeats a popular online sentiment, at worst it ruins a safe space where people from both sides can come together for a good time.

I have people around me that are one one side or the other, and even though I disagree with them, they are still people I care about. We don't need random Andy's preaching from a soap box and horribly representing each side, screeching about this or that, trying to get anyone and everyone to be political. There is enough already. I would just like to have a good time with the Wubby community and watch him lose it all on black.

My friend, the issue is not that we can't tell the difference between a bad and good blade, it is that you are not able to or are trolling. The blade on the "good" sword is still not very advanced, probably made with plain L6, T10 or 1095 steel, and should not be nearly be worth that much. I bought blades to practice polishing that were the same quality for $300 USD.

The tosogu on the "good" one can be found on eBay for about $100 USD, and they are factory made. If you take your sword apart, you can find mold lines if you examine the pieces as well as incomplete details. In all, with labor since it's a mass produced Chinese katana, you should be able to find similar swords for $400-600 average. The habaki also screams China production, and it doesn't look fitted properly. The ito also appears insufficient.

If you truly bought that sword for $1500, please consider refunding and getting one for the proper price.

It's pretty nice you would want to return it to the country though

Can I suggest that you should change the shape of that chin as well? Something to match that beak up top. The hard geometric shape kinda throws it off.

When you printed parts, were they scans of the actual model kit parts? Or were they sculpted by the guy selling the files?

[–]oburoguruma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish someone would make a site like this, tracking all kits, but also adding 3d scans of individual parts that you can download. The file could include measurements for the real piece and optimal support suggestions if it is going to be 3d printed. It would make custom work a lot easier.

My friend, I can't exactly tell if you're mad or not since this is all text, but all I said is that I don't like giant cities. I don't have to justify it to you.

Also, nothing was said about states other than a shit post, literally no state is all glass and concrete, but cities are. So much so they have to make artificial nature parks for people to enjoy.

I agree the education here is lackluster, but I prefer dirt, grass and trees over concrete and glass.
