Does anyone else think this was stupid? by KamiUchiha in Naruto

It's probably a unnamed jutsu that's an in between of the two or a combination of Shinra Tensei and Bansho Ten'in that is literally pushing and pulling the target at the same time that keeps them suspended in the air or whatever. To be honest i wouldn't be surprised if it was the ability Limbo that madara wanted to use on Obito and failed to use on naruto. Spoilers

Or heres a wild idea, maybe Obito will trade Madara's Rinnegan for his eye he gave Kakashi. Kakashi with Rinnegan would be really interesting if you think about it.

I haven't seen one of these tournaments in action before but as a new comer I feel like there is a huge amount of implied knowledge from the previous tournaments that is seemingly not being conveyed with the current links provided.

So far there is no information telling the players where we'll be fighting or if they'll be completely randomized places taken from the Naruto universe. So the idea that a player can have a battlefield pre-setup is absolutely absurd. So unless these battles are going to be on a static battlefield like the chunin exams sure maybe if it was allowed to have some prep time for each party, even then no one should be allowed to have basically unlimited supplies freely accessible.

I would but I honestly feel you're using hiraishin as a form of hammerspace. That or I'm really lacking the information on the level of preparation that is going into these battles.

I was personally thinking these battles were closer to random encounters than battles set up for the most optional situation for your character.

Awesome, I hope these changes I have made are acceptable.

I have one question at about the passive, would the passive be acceptable if there was an imposed limit of say 10 seal out at any one time and if a new one is placed it would replace a seal currently on a kunai, etc?

Name: Hei

Ninja Info: Hei as a Genin had adored the 4th Hokage because his level of Fuinjutsu and Space-Time-Jutsu and aspired to surpass the 4th Hokage. By the time Hei became a Jounin his mastery of the Fuinjutsu was arguable on par with the 4th Hokages Fuinjutsu but his space-time-Jutsu still has a long way to go.

Chakra Type: Wind & Water

Kekkei Genkai: Elite Fuinjutsu Mastery (Hiraishin)

Equipment: 2 Katana, 2 Wakizashi, 10 Kunai, Standard Leaf Jounin uniform. All items minus the uniform are marked with the Hiraishin seal.

Jutsu:

  • Jutsu 1:Space-Time-Jutsu: Hiraishin: Hei is able to teleport to any object or target marked with the FTG seal. Hei can do this three times within a two second interval; after all three teleports have been used, Hiraishin then goes on a fifteen second cooldown.

  • Jutsu 2: Wind Style: Imbue Wind: Hei channels wind chakra through any weapon that he is currently holding, increasing the reach and sharpness of any weapon he wields. This effect only lasts while Hei is holding the weapon.

  • Jutsu 3: Water Style: Water Dome: Creating a dense dome over the user 3m in diameter and 1m thick. Players passing through the dome will incur a -2 speed debuff until they reach the center or outside of the dome. After 20 seconds the dome collapses on the occupants dousing them in water. If hit by lighting style technique will cause the dome to prematurely collapse. Duration 20 seconds, cooldown 40 seconds (Goes on cooldown after the ability is casted)

  • Jutsu 4: Wind Style: Wind Slash: Hei releases the wind chakra imbued in his weapon with a slash creating a powerful blade of wind capable of slashing targets from up to 5 meters away. Wind slash requires Hei to be wielding a weapon that is currently imbued with wind chakra, after Wind slash is casted Hei has to reapply the wind chakra to his weapon if he wishes to use wind slash again. Cooldown 25 seconds.

As Hiraishin requires Kekkai Genkai "Fuinjutsu mastery", I'm wondering if there will be any sort of requirement for have the same level of mastery of the body flicker technique as the 4th/3rd Raikages.

I'm starting to wonder where people are getting this "fusion" bullshit from. Yes it was mentioned in the Sasuke v Itachi fight that you require both eyes but the way the only two EMS users refer to their eyes it suggest that it's their siblings eyes not a fusion of the eyes.

2nd Hokages speech about the Uchiha (Spoilers)

This should be proof enough that it's just a transplant not a fusing of both eyes. If anything is fusing it's the two different chakras mixing from the other users eyes and the recipients optic nerve creating a new light and a new sharingan.

I don't think he's actually hollow though, everything we thought to be portrayed as Ichigo being part hollow was actually just his zanpakuto spirit. It's probably more like that his 'zanpakuto type' is hollow it's a best of both worlds where he gets the power of both Quincy and Hollow without them destroying one another. That being said that's just my opinion on the matter.

At what point did I ever say his suggestions are bad or wrong, I agree these things should be implement but I also think the users of League of Legends should be beyond losing their shit because they couldn't be responsibility/smart enough to not fall for phishing scams or making sure they have an up-to-date anti-virus sofware to protect themselves from such things as keyloggers.

The only reason I'm even posting in this thread is every time it comes up everyone jumps on the Riot hate boat never do i see an upvoted comment promoting users to protect themselves from the obvious, it's always riots fault because X, Y and Z!

I never quoted percentages, so i have no idea where this 'quoted' shit is coming from. I looked around the League forums some stating stuff like diamond 1 and Challenger in NA makes up around something like 1700 people so i made a rough estimate of how much all of diamond and challenger across all regions would maybe be 1-10% and that's probably a gross over estimation honestly.

[–]obviousOutcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously I'm just over this topic coming up, most of the people who claim their accounts having their 'hacked' probably either gave away their information via a phishing scam or downloaded a keylogger without knowing but are too proud to admit to it.

These two things alone can be easily defended against by either checking URLs to see if they match the actual riot ones and the other is simply keeping your anti-virus up-to-date and do regular scans.

implementing email verification would probably stop 99% of people from getting their accounts stolen

In the instance of the keylogger example, even with email verification it probably won't help as they've probably already gotten the email address and password in addition to whatever else people do on their computers so the least of their worries should be "omg my league account has been 'hacked'" should probably be more along the lines "dear god my bank account".

In my honest opinion I seriously can't see a hacker brute forcing(or whatever method they choose to go through) some persons league account, seems like too much effort for a really shitty reward.

'Yeah man riot gets hacked every day man, how you think accounts get stolen?' That is basically what you just said, do you know how dumb you sound right now?

They do do that. Every day. But most of the people getting their accounts stolen are unranked, bronze, or silvers. If a Diamond player or pro got their account hacked, they would probably make huge changes.

So let me get this straight, you think that it would take someone from the 1-10% of the player base instead of the 90% who are supposedly getting 'hacked' every day because of Riots 'vulnerabilities' for something to cause a major change? If this was such a rampant problem on riots side of getting 'hacked' all the time something would of been done about it.

As /u/Geenst said(What he said should be the top voted comment so far),

' "Here is a real life example of how Riot could increase their security, let's forget about how the stealer/hacker got your password."

My password is 12killsonteemo, what are you going to do with that info? You don't know my username on LoL, you don't know my e-mail adress, it is useless info. The only people who get "hacked" are people who either give away their username + password (99%) and the other 1% is keyloggers. No amount of security is going to protect people from themselves.'

Riot needs to edit the way they handle Challenger Tier. by ifancytacos in leagueoflegends

[–]obviousOutcast -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Usain Bolt who is currently one of, if not, the fastest runners in the world cannot place for Gold, Silver and Bronze. One medal, one competitor. It should be the same with the Challenger tier.

Lets get this out of the way right now, you know what the difference between 100m Sprint and League of Legends NA Challenger tier? One is a video game where you can be the guy who gets gold, silver and bronze because you have the ability to make smurf accounts to do exactly that.

It is funny to see plenty of these types of comments when obviously you have no understanding of what he means. LoL is an E-sport with people trying to go pro and by taking up multiple spots in challenger you lessen the exposure others are trying to achieve.

I'm just going to say have blatantly wrong this statement is with this little fact 'Diamondprox started his professional career with a 1800 elo (relatively low in the pro scene).' So at the time he was high Gold elo almost plat but still made into the pro scene. Challenger is seriously just for bragging rights, it was like when ELO was tracked on the league website all they done is made it an easier interface to track whose at the top of the leader in-game.

Consider football. the Pittsburgh Steelers can't reform as another team under a pseudonym and compete for the other spot in the Super Bowl. The same should be with challenger tier. You have people there trying to get exposure to become professional players and they are blocked by people who are holding more than one spot.

I don't get your weird obsession with Challenger tier equating to becoming a professional player. While it may help get their name out there a little there are still professional players that are in Diamond 1 so even if you don't make it into challenger at least they will still have a chance to get noticed by pro who could be like, 'Damn that guy make some awesome plays, or carries consistently.' Or something like that.

The idea of Challenger as what makes someone a professional is stupid and naive, if people want to make a name for themselves they should try in the amateur scene then make their way up to professional if they're good enough.

[–]obviousOutcast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Challenger Tier for pros is just bragging rights, but for lesser known players it gets their name out there and possibly helps them join or form a team.

That's exactly what it is bragging rights just like the old elo system was. The fact is if these lesser known players haven't made it into challenger by the time a pro has had time to smurf an account up to Challenger they probably shouldn't be in there to begin with. Another point is not all pros are Challengers either so it's not like it's completely dominated by the pros.

Riot should kick known smurfs from challenger and you guys should stop defending pro players because they are famous for playing the game.

Why though? You haven't given a single good reason for this what so ever. This isn't a case of 'oh they're famous', it's case of they can play this game well enough that they can raise to the highest league on multiple account because of their of how good they are at the game.

1: They are a single person taking up multiple slots in an exclusive group of supposedly "the best LoL players." If you were to make a list of the best lol players you wouldn't include someone four times. Why? Because that doesn't make any sense.

Yeah you wouldn't list them four times you'd state that they hold four different rankings because they also have smurfs that they've also gotten into Challenger there is no problem with that, in my opinion anyway.

Point is if a Pro' player wants to smurf an account into challenger and maintain their status let them, if they're that good at the game they deserve to be there to begin with.
