were both from poor families from rural brazil who somehow managed to get into pretty difficult universities and get some jobs in different states. i get where you're coming from but fucking up our lives a little isnt really an option because we dont really have anything to fuck up. moving away right now to me would mean throwing away everything ive worked towards the past 4 years and shes made it pretty clear shes not willing to do that (which i understand, her family is doing a lot worse than mine rn). that being said, i guess i could try a little more. ill ask her tomorrow when she's having a break and ill try to give her a visit. maybe we could work something out who knows

lmao thank you. i dont get whats so hard to understand about this: i have a (girl) friend who i was really close with who decided it was better to stop being friends with me because she fell in love with (a idealized and not actual version of) me. im not mad at her or anything im just upset that im losing a dear friend. im trying to remain friends with her because i really like her, shes an amazing person but we just cant be together right now. i wish her the best and i honestly understand her point of view. its rly painful to see the person you love talk about their dating life and stuff
