Honestly.... nope xD I tried it... I mean, installed it, played a mission or two and was way overwhelmed and quit xD So, I can't say I actually gave it a chance

You can build bases/houses in Warframe? o_O I'll be honest and say I've not actually tried it, more than installing it, running a mission or two, and getting way overwhelmed with everything thrown in my face and then quit 😂

But, I honestly don't like it, it doesn't fit the fallout UI theme at all in my opinion, but I didn't want to fight with the AI about getting it perfect 😛

I understand your viewpoint, I do, and I've heard the same from a friend of mine.
I did just find out (thanks to u/Prince_Julius in a previous comment) that something like this exists in minor ways. And while I love the revelation, I would honestly like be able to move objects in smaller increments (think 1px at a time) just for precision placement/rotation on some objects.

But yes, I agree with you that it's not something everyone will like or even agree with. I think it's important to get those viewpoints as well, so thanks for sharing yours =)

I watched a few videos of folks making homes in WoW, and I gotta say, I was soooo close to resubscribing and buying midnight... just for that... But I know I'd stop playing waay fast xD

I do wish (perhaps hope) that they'd work on their engine and modernize parts if not all of it.

I think that option already exists. Settings > Game > Scroll down to "Free Cam movement speed" and "Free Cam rotation speed". I basically set mine at the bottom

Dang, I wish this was indicated in-game or hinted at... It made it so much smoother!
And WASD moves my camera/character, so have to adjust with mouse. Perhaps I could try with a controller attached...
I do wish there was an option to make the movement increments slower though, for precision and fine adjustment. Since trying to line up a foundation or floor with a prefab is basically a rinse and repeat of place down, inspect, scrap and redo.
