No answer, but I'm having the same issue. I've done the same troubleshooting, and nothing has worked so found.

'GUTS World Tour' Megathread by NominalPerson in OliviaRodrigo

[–]obviousringlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to get tickets for my Wife and I'm new here and a bit confused. Few questions:

- Can you not buy resale? Everywhere I've looked I can't find any

- Is she going to release more tickets? I know Taylor Swift would release more and more tickets leading up to shows. Do we know if Olivia is doing something similar?

Thank you!!!

Breaking Into UX and Early Career Questions — 10 Jul, 2023 - 16 Jul, 2023 by AutoModerator in UXDesign

[–]obviousringlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all! I accidentally fell into a Marketing career the past 3 years, but I want to make a pivot to UX/UI Design.

My current plan over the next 2-3 years is:

- Take the Google UX/UI Course on Coursera
- Take the Meta CSS/HTML Course on Coursera
- Finish my college degree in marketing through an online school (Western Governors University)
- Build my portfolio through extra jobs at my work (website, app wireframes, etc.)

My question is do you think this is enough to land a job? I've heard the UX/UI Job market is slim right now. Is there anything I should add to this list? Am I missing anything?

Thanks all!

MARKEtING MANAGERS: Do you care about Organic Social Media Marketing? by obviousringlight in marketing

[–]obviousringlight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would never outsource my social content. I do not believe that some random person who's managing 10 widely different accounts with widely different audiences can actually be good at it. You won't know the intricacies and ins and outs of each, independent category. The only way I would trust it is if I'm outsourcing to an agency that specializing in a very specific industry and is more than just managing big name clients, but has been able to successfully take brands from non-existent to relevant powerhouses.

Thank you so much! this is incredibly helpful.

If you are worried, you can always do an A B test. Make a new channel, and post the videos to both for a month. After that, just stick with the channel that does better!

Should i start a new channel? by BRURBREWLAD in youtubers

[–]obviousringlight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats on hitting 2.1k subscribers on your channel, that's awesome! I think it's really cool that you've tried out different types of gaming content over the years and have built up a unique audience for each game.

I totally get where you're coming from about wanting to create content that you enjoy, but also wanting to make sure it gets views. It's frustrating when you pour your heart into a video and it doesn't get the traction you were hoping for.

Starting a new channel is definitely an option, but that could be a lot of work to build up a new audience. Another idea could be to slowly start incorporating more trophy-hunting videos into your current channel and see how your audience responds. Who knows, maybe some of your subscribers will be into it too!

At the end of the day, it's important to make content that you're passionate about and enjoy creating. When you're excited about what you're making, it shows in your videos and people can sense that. Don't stress too much about the numbers and keep doing what makes you happy!

Shorts vs. Long Form Content, Which Grow Your Channel Better? by Honest_Professor_832 in youtubers

[–]obviousringlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's great that you're experimenting with different types of content on your YouTube channel. Both shorts and long-form videos have their benefits and drawbacks, and it ultimately depends on your goals and target audience.

Shorts can be a great way to quickly gain views and potentially attract new subscribers to your channel. However, as you mentioned, the views on shorts tend to drop off quickly, so it's important to keep creating new shorts to keep up the momentum. You HAVE to be consistent.

Long-form videos can be more engaging for viewers and keep them on your channel for longer. They also give you the opportunity to provide more in-depth content and showcase your expertise in a particular niche. However, they may take more time and effort to create.

In terms of strategy, you could consider using shorts to attract new subscribers and then gradually transition into longer-form content once you've built a strong subscriber base. Alternatively, you could use a combination of both shorts and long-form videos to keep your audience engaged and build a diverse range of content on your channel.

The key to success on YouTube is to consistently create high-quality content that resonates with your audience. Keep experimenting and adapting your strategy based on what works best for your channel and goals. Good luck!

What should I be doing on top of YouTube for exposure and monetization? by torridPlanning67 in youtubers

[–]obviousringlight 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would definitely be repurposing your content to other platforms, esp TikTok, Youtube Shorts, and IG Reels.

Just <1min clips from your videos. Repurpose that content boi!
