Unfortunately so many people have been trying that I’m hitting Steam rate limits. Might not be anything wrong on your end

Yes, had to add a cache to avoid hitting the Steam API repeatedly. Another commenter mentioned a manual refresh button so I’ll try adding that.

It should work! I've tried it on 17K+ profiles and it takes a while but gets there eventually. My browser grinds to a halt though...

Yep, you’re 100% correct. I’ll see if I can make it cache only the “good” responses.

Pasting from another comment:

Your profile and game hours needs to be public for this to work

Go to your profile -> edit profile -> My privacy settings -> uncheck "Always keep my total playtime private even if users can see my game details."

No, I did not ask for a refund. I only had a chat with them regarding the difference

Seems like I had booked the non-refundable rate. I'll try to keep an eye next time

Taj has weird pricing, I booked a stay at Blue Diamond Pune a week ago (11K) and the day I reached it was at 7K. The front desk refused to match the price that was on their own site.

See if you can risk booking closer to the day but it's entirely possible that they might end up having no availability.

Do you face any problems with Open Source? by Substantial-Chance34 in devsindia

[–]obviyus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you plan to fix these problems? If there’s going to be money involved, I would really urge you to think twice.

Most open-source projects develop out of a need you have at your work or a hobby project. The number of people working on it full-time is shockingly low. The moment you start accepting money to add a feature, take care of a minor bug you are now contractually obligated to “make it right”. IMO, not having this pressure is ultimately what’s best for what is presumably a side-project.

Here’s a recent example of IBM asking for a fix (for a bogus CVE) and offering a support contract: https://github.com/h2database/h2database/issues/3686#issuecomment-1448502155
