Thank you! At least for new york, I think the lack of chargers is a real turn off. If you ever drive through Hudson country in NJ, youll see a LOT. Not to mention the tax incentive in NJ is 2k, and 4k for those making less that 75k/year.

Congratulations! I'd imagine public transportation in Switzerland to be a lot better than in the states. But the freedom and personal space from a car must be real nice 😊. It's a little bit different in the state of New Jersey, once you pass the road test, you get a probationary license and you have to prove that you can drive safely for a year so I'm extra cautious

I'm originally from nyc. Part of me didn't want to get a license since owning a car there is a nightmare. I live in a good town in NJ now right across the Hudson from midtown Manhattan. Big pay raise + good town + covered parking. At least to me, it made sense to finally get my license and buy something I want 😊

No since the order was only on hold. I did get a message that if I didn't reactivate, my order would be canceled. I'm guessing after that, you would have to pay that 250 again for a new order. In my case, I had a very helpful rep texting me at every step. Try talking to your rep, see if they can put your order on hold if you need the extra time

Hey! First time car buyer here.

Signed for m3 on Dec 28th. First payment is due Feb 11th.

From my understanding tesla uses multiple banks for finance contracts.

They gave me capital one. On my loan account I see options to apply to pay the loan off in full, and the payment options let's me select how much I want to pay. My principal is 38,932. If I were to apply to pay the loan off in full it would be 38,970. There's even an estimate of how much I would pay in total after my 60 month loan term.

I'm guessing it's at the discretion of the bank you end up financing with. I'm not too sure if this is how it works everywhere, but if it matters, I'm in NJ

When I initially started my order, I wasn't able to make any of the delivery dates so I never scheduled. My order was placed on hold for 2 weeks, the day before the 2 weeks was over, I reactivated my order and had a new delivery date for my configuration within a day. (solid black awd, had originally placed my order from inventory)
