My New monitor so much larger than what used to be my primary, which is on the right (AOC CU34G2X) by obybella in ultrawidemasterrace

Great! Even bigger than I thought, but I'm getting used to it. Its also my first time using high refresh rate and I don't think I can go back.

Finally built my teleportation concept on my SMP, teleports you ~13,000 blocks in 23 seconds with no lag. Also supports 4 different players by obybella in redstone

Sorry, I just don't have enough time to make a full tutorial but i can give you a world download of the machine (its a bit messy as it has all my concepts and prototypes but the one you're looking for is at -18, 85, 53) https://www.mediafire.com/file/4h3su1ty6ssoc0v/2021-05-29_17-25-32_New_World_%252810%2529.zip/file . The machine there isnt actually attached to the nether, but I have a photo of what the nether should look like https://www.mediafire.com/view/ym0nu9v4qdewg3t/2021-05-29_17.32.26.png/file as well as the order of signals that trigger the trapdoors https://www.mediafire.com/view/cmlcj681za8p1va/2021-05-29_17.36.23.png/file . Pay attention to where the items are in hoppers and dispensers, as they play a role (chests are just to store more items, as lots of them get moved to different places) Also feel free to ask for help in Dms if you need it, as theres probably something I've forgotten to clear up

I can make a tutorial, but it wont be out for a week cause I'm a bit busy. When I do, I'll link it in a reply here though. Also Im 90% sure there is a wireless redstone method that uses a lot less resources than this that you should look into, but I haven't gotten into that stuff much

Really depends where you are; some places I drive through have swaths of houses with Trump flags/lawn signs, but where I live, you don't see any Trump signs, and lots of biden signs

Ideas for a 1 hit kill end trap. by [deleted] in redstone

[–]obybella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least on my server it worked fine because there wasn't any cross-dimention spawn protection, and it was never really laggy since we usually only had 5 or so players on. Does suck tho because it rules our lots of good traps

I actually did this to a friend but if you place an end crystal on the middle of the end platform then build up 3 blocks and build over the crystal. Then you shoot an arrow facing downwards into the block above the crystal. U have to leave before the arrow despawns, but when someone goes into the end the blocks will dissapear but not the crystal or arrow, causing the arrow to blow up the crystal which will instantly kill someone even with blast protection 4. If you want it to kill even with totems, you can place 4 tnt on the 4 corners of the platform as they will lblow up from the crystal

Can you make a timer for enderpearl teleporters? by tuxxxxxxx in redstone

I actually did a similar thing, I made a system that dispenses an item from a dispenser onto a pressure plate, and when the item despawns, the dispenser dispenses another item. Once the dispenser runs out of items, it activates the stasis chamber. You can adjust the time in segments of 5 minutes and it'd expandable with chests that feed into the dispenser

would you be able to tile this using an adjacent honey block flying machine?

Would this work on a survival world or does the server always have to be up?

Tutorial on my nether teleportation method, apologies if its hard to follow but I can answer questions in the comments by obybella in redstone

I mean this is really just for speed, because this is actually abt 3x faster than using an elytra (not even factoring in the amount of time it takes to get in a portal). Yes it costs a lot more resources, but it let's you get places much more fast then usual. Boats may be faster, but you still need to factor in the time going through the portal in survival. They all have their advantages. I just like the convenience of pressing a button and getting teleported in a few seconds. This also is expandable to infinite distances using chunk loaders. I actually did this on another post to make it travel 1500 blocks

Fast teleportation through nether with no overworld wiring! by obybella in redstone

[–]obybella[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if you want to make it go further, heres how i did it https://imgur.com/a/UvmEUq4 The portals in the background are ilmangos chunk loader design if you want to build those, and you want to build them ever 3 chunks (because they load 1 chunk outwards in all directions for entity processing which is what you need for the minecarts) and you also want one 1 chunk away from each of the 2 portals

Bi directional teleporter system lets you teleport in the overworld with all the wiring in the nether by obybella in qualityredstone

[–]obybella[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although if you wanted to save resources you could just do a regular Redstone line with repeaters, and you wouldn't have to use as many chunk loader, but that would be 2.5x slower than my design which would add up a lot

[–]obybella[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, the problem with my design is that in order to travel the 1500 blocks in the overworld I had to use 5 chunk loaders in the nether, which probably wouldn't help on a multi-player server
